Sand Filter Assembly - Bestway Above Ground Pool Sand Filter

This small sand filter came with our new Bestway above ground pool, so we decided to assemble it and give it a try this year, instead of using the larger sand filter we purchased independently last year, since we didn't have the new replacement hoses needed. We'll see if it keeps up, or if we need to just buy new hoses and new sand to fill the larger filter. This small new filter also included filtration balls which we have never tried, but for right now, we are going to use sand since we had just enough to fill it.

The filter is filled with pool filter sand, if that’s what you are asking.
