I’ve been practicing wheelies on my dirtbike for a while now without knowing how to use the foot break to not loop my bike and honestly wondered if I could even wheelie without using a rear break, thanks for the information
I think when I finally learn to wheelie it will be through throttle control. I find it harder to control the brake than it is the throttle. When you say to lower your idle what you really mean is keep the rpm's lower for less engine brake and that is done through your gearing. Get a smaller rear sprocket and your rpm's will be lower. It might be a little harder to pop it up but you can always clutch it up.
Reason I’m asking snd even on this video is I want wheelie without using the brake. Aside from emergencies. I’m trying to figure out if engine brakes is enough.
So basically you do awesome wheelies and drop back pretty far without having to use any rear brake whatsoever? I assume bikes with less engine braking you wouldn’t be able to drop back as far without having to use a little bit of brake?
Need some advice I have a fz07 and the problem I'm having is it has a ton of engine braking so when I roll off the throttle the bike will come down very quickly making the wheelie choppy. Only a problem once I get very close to balance point. I could reduce the engine braking by tuning it out. Just wondering if you think that would help make the throttle smoother.
The higher the rpm the more engine brake you get. He was doing wheelies at lower rpm and adjusting how much engine brake with idle. So if he's wheeling at 3000 and idle 2500 then only 500rpm of braking, if he lowers idle to 2000 then he has more engine brake from a 1000 rpm difference. But if your doing wheelie at 10,000 rpm then you will have more engine brake and longer duration of engine brake. He's doing wheelies close to his idle rpm to micro control engine braking over a small rpm range
Okay so I seem to have an issue with my throttle control and brake. I don't give it enough beans to get to balance point because subconsciously I'm not confident that I'll hit it in time. So I get like a foot from balance point and drop throttle but by that time the front tire has gone too low to bring it back up with more throttle. So my question is, in order to find that sweet spot, do you have to just drop it back and hit the brake when you need it so that you know where your throttle should be and so that you know where too far is? Or should I just qork my way up a little at a time. Been riding dor like 4 months and have been slowly working by way up but I feel so impatient lol
If you're riding a stock geared bike, you need to clutch up as close to bp as possible...however, of you're semi close, you can definitely throttle up in bp, it just takes more than most new riders are comfortable giving it. On a stunt geared bike, there's so much torque that it's much easier to throttle up to bp from a lower height. Whatever you do, lock down the use of the back break so you can bring it down when you get uncomfortable
tank sitdowns with no rear break is Crazyy bra
What a Legend he needs more veiws
Help me out!!
nice video man, keep em coming!
Thank you sir!!
Thanks for the tips bro…! I started out with throttle control. Used the breaks very little so, I understand your point..!😎😎🤙🏼
Watching you bail off the scrape in the intro.... subbed!
Best wheelie video fr

Did you do it?
I had an 06 GSXR1000 with a broken foot brake and wheelied that thing everywhere and maxed it out @ 187! Good vid!!!! 👍🏽
Lit!!
Beast bro! Killin with no hand brake! Super smooth on that throttle.
💯
I just followed you cos of this trick wow 😯
you had me in the first minute, what a BOSS!

Your wild AF bro bro.
Nice video bro your talking facts
Crazy bro🙏✅
I should try it on my African twin crf1000, I’m a beginner rider though but with lots of miles under belt since February
THANKS!
What gear are u doing these wheelies

I lower the idle
i wish i can wheelie like you one day
Hey man you are crazy 🔥👍
What throttle set up are you running?

The easiest thing to do is click up a gear
A lot of engine brake is actually the next for smooth wheelies
Yes going up a gear seems to help, I probably just need to get better at keeping my throttle smooth.
Question. Do you need to be in high rpm range to do this so you have engine brake? 2nd question, do you have more engine brake at high rpm?

Are you in hillsboro man
No sir

I can whillie but Idk how to use the rear brake
Just tap it
What gear is this?
2nd
@@nastynate_jr you have a handbrake?
@@antoniomitchell1883 Did you watch the video? lol
@@nastynate_jr oops, I watch so many and comment, I forget which video is which.
Do a proper detailed how to wheelie and stoppie tutorial.😀😀
What gear how fast what tooth sprocket
Hey man, all of this can be done on any bike with any set up
Yeah just wondering what ur running buddy and what gear with what set up
🔥
You focus the throttle control first that's more important
how do you not loop out can someone explain this to me please
Throttle control
@@nastynate_jr yes but if you go over your balance point you dont have any brakes to bring you back forward
Do I have to idle my bike down to have a good amount of engine brake. “Stock bike”
Stock bike should idle around 1300-1400. That's plenty of EB. It takes a very smooth throttle hand to keep bp at stock idle. Just takes practice.
I don't use my brake at all...hell I don't even know what that is when I'm wheeling..it's all throttle for me
Lol coulda just pulled the lever off
So so savage 🙏
When wheelying , why do you feel it necessary to keep jumping on the tank??!
I don’t see how your idle spot effects the bike while it’s on the throttle
Low idle give you whine brake
Engine*
Fucking savage👏🏾
Bro I follow you on insta
