I drive a 3.5 eco boost and it sometimes does sound like one slightly but only when I’m getting into the gas. Otherwise the turbos are not really large enough routinely when driving normal.
My 18 sounds almost identical but has dual exhaust and turbo not quite as loud he must have something aftermarket but mine sounds pretty close I never used to like the sound of V6 engines but I'm starting to love my 2.7
I’m thinkin about puttin that down pipe on my truck cause I have the same exhaust system and love the sound of the setup you have I just have a question with the cat less down pipes do you have a check engine light on?
Michael r Ya I noticed they have stopped production on Catless Downpipes. I inquired because I wanted Catless for my Ranger. You could still get a similar sound with their Catted Downpipes and deleting the muffler !

Yes mpg changed slightly - also have a heavy foot.
No the downpipes were specific for the 2.7!

FYI the 2.7 eco boost comes with plastic oil pan I get one made of metal before going off road
