Very informative video. It's funny I see a lot of advice online to NOT hit down with your woods, but I know to listen to Giles lol

Another great video, thank you. I am going try this position tomorrow morning! I tee my wood much higher so will try teeing it lower.

Thankyou Giles, I've taken your advice on board. It makes for a more repeatable swing from ground to tee. It's ball positioning that I struggle with, so hopefully, the advice given I'm hoping will allow me to get this part right ✅️ I use woods a lot. I use two 5 woods, 18 & 21 degrees, a 9 wood and hybrid. My 7 iron is my biggest iron, but it all makes for a more enjoyable round.

Giles, you give concise info and no long winded explanations. How does poor posture at address affect ball contact and swing balance

All excellent points Giles on hitting the 3 wood! I enjoy the 3 wood shot and I do try to keep my swing in tempo, have speed in my swing, and hit down on the ball, with weight forward on its completion Sometime, I don't get off my right side completely and a thin shot is the result. Well Done As Always Giles!

Great tips, I was hitting it like my irons but standing to close to to the ball, I moved back like my driver but swinging down like my irons, like you have shown with much better results. This was with my five wood.

Would you give the same advice when it comes to hitting with a 5-, 7- or 9- wood from the deck?

Please note: if you play a mini driver the concept is the same. Nice numbers BTW
