Spiffing video As usual! Great to hear the rare "Badenweiler Marsch!". The marches played were, 1) 0:08-Wellington 2) 2:23-Trafalgar (🎉🎉🎉🎉) (Return to Barracks) 3) 3:10-Through Bolts and Bars (Per Aspera Ad Astra) 4) 4:15-Badonviller Marcsch (Badenweiler Marsch)
Shame it’s such a brief rendition of your favourite Delvin! I was looking forward to hearing more of it but they disappeared through the arch out of earshot. That last march is a cracker though😊 I’m going to have an attempt at naming an instrument here, no laughing anyone🤭 are we seeing two euphoniums and one tuba? 3:47 One looks bigger than the other two but I’m not sure if it’s because it’s closer to the camera or maybe the musician himself is smaller than the other two🤔
Hello @@AnnofWales21! It is a bit sad about Trafalgar, but the Band of the Irish Guards have spoiled me quite a lot recently! From what I can see, I see one Euphonium and 3 Tubas. Two BBb Tubas and one Eb Tuba, if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure if I am incorrect someone will correct me! Hope this helps!

I wish I'd been there, especially after seeing/hearing your video, but made the "mistake" of believing the weather forecast which appeared to show the south of England being under heavy rain from early morning onwards. It looks as if you had reasonable weather, so well done!
If I am honest, which is rare, I had hoped to see you out there on a relatively calm Tuesday morning. I had considered chocolate at the machine if I had company. One thing that I will say about yesterday... the aircraft were landing on either 27L or 27R. The aircraft noise was infuriatingly loud. The video would have been almost 8 minutes long. Down to 5 and a half minutes due to an intense cropping episode. Until next time, Sir !

Should be the soldiers that go to war, not a camera man on the streets of his own country. Wind, rain, humans. You are having to battle the whole lot. Take it easy Commander !
You know what is happening to the climate here. Windier, wetter, and warmer. Especially the wet part. I will go when it is tolerable. Good luck with that ! 🤔

It's the german "Badonviller Marsch"/"Badenweiler Marsch". Always great to hear our marches being played by the British. As this march was one of Hitler's favourites and thus heavily used during the Nazi rule, German military bands up until this day are prohibited from playing it on regular parades, so we don't really get to hear it often.
