Congrats! This video covers the topic very well in 11 minutes. I was looking for some errors (which I usually find in youtube videos on vertigo) and couldn't find any! Only thing I would suggest adding is clearly stating that if any of the findings in HINTS is central, the overall HINTS exam is central. And to diagnose vestibular neuritis, you must see all three HINTS exam components showing a peripheral result.
In PPPD, it's mentioned that the Vertigo is "non-spinning," although vertigo is usually synonymous with a spinning sensation at least in patients' words. Are there other ways vertigo can be described?
The description of what a patient is experiencing when they are suffering from a vestibular disorder is not a reliable way of ruling in or out any diagnosis. That's why many experts in vertigo use "dizziness/vertigo" as an inclusive term. I've seen patient with BPPV describe their dizziness as lightheaded, or "like I've been kicked by a horse" and patients with orthostatic hypotension from impending sepsis describing their dizzy sensation as "the room was spinning".
This vertigo can also last 2-3 weeks. I have has this happen many times to me but the longest lasted almost 3 weeks. And yes couldn’t stand up because if I did I would walk sideways so had to hold on to the wall. So beware and be careful. Doctors always say it was my imagination! Sure sure!!!

Hallelujah!!! I’m favored and blessed with $60,000 every week! Now I can afford anything and also support the work of God and the church.
Oh really? Tell me more!
This is what Melissa Jonas Richard does, she has changed my life.
After raising up to 60k trading with her, I bought a new house and car here in the US and also paid for my son’s (Oscar) surgery. Glory to God.shalom.
I know Melissa Jonas Richard, and I have also had success...
Absolutely! I have heard stories of people who started with little or no knowledge but managed to emerge victorious thanks to Melissa Jonas Richard.

Does unilateral roaring timnitus require ct to rule out acoustic neuroma? Or only pulsatile tinnitus?
