He was my favourite out of the musiala, Jude, Foden, and Pedri bunch until he did his ACL. But now he's operating on, if not above their level right now. So glad he came back well from the injury.
Imo Foden has proved that he's not at their level. At his best he's phenomenal but he has never shown up in moments where his team are struggling. Bayern and Barca struggled last season and Wirtz is clearly Leverkusen's best player.
Jude and foden are second strikers box threats mediocre outside of zone 14 or if they aren’t able to attack the box, do not have the general creativity and playmaking of musiala and pedri do not compare them different profiles completely

Hello Pythagoras, I love your videos, probably best football content on UA-cam right now. I have one question, which website do you get the stats from? Thank you in advance!!!
Congratulations on your big news! The fact you mentioned about joining the wrong club tells me everything I need to know. Too many people overlook fit & style of play when it comes to developing/improving as a player, seems a lot of players are ill-advised by agents too which is sad, clearly you'll be different to that trend which is great for football
Hi Pythag. How about making a fun video that I think you'd enjoy producing/researching. Could you rank 3 of the best (in your opinion) hypothetical UK national team squads ever. Starting XI, subs, and manager; all have to be UK citizens (basically eligible to play for a hypothetical UK national team under FIFA rules), and period accurate. For example, players from the 60s have to play with other players who played at the same time and be managed by managers who were managing in the same era as well, using period accurate tactics. Same rules for any other period you choose to pick. Then, rank your UK teams against the best national teams in the world at the time to see how much talent was produced in the UK at the time. Controversially, I think the UK XI from the 60s would give 60s Brazil a run for their money, but I'd love to hear your opinion on it. Thanks.
@PythagorasinBoots Thanks for replying. The mid to late 40s and mid to late 70s as well, they were arguably the golden days of England and Scotland, respectively. But I agree, the 60s teams will be hard to beat. I think the '62 team is the best to feature players from all the home nations in the starting XI, but I'll let you decide whether it's the best overall.
High Praise. I think that the players that were intergenerational had evidence of a bit more ability to take the game on themselves. Someone like Cruyff could simply take so much attention of his team mates and deliver inside that cauldron, Zidane is an excellent example of that true GRAVITY those players have. But what Florian has shown, as your video helped solidify in my mind, is a remarkable range of passing and effective angles he can still deliver from. In that regard if his decision making continues to improve with experience he could well push his way through that barrier.
Best young player I've seen in years and years, I have him up there with Lamine Yamal and arguably Cole Palmer, maybe better than both. Just so impressive. Head always up, finds a way through. And his first touch, balance and close control is the x-factor for me, it's outrageous.
@ okay, thank you I was asking about Pedri because although you say that for you Wirtz is probably the best 10 of his generation, I don't know if you say that because now you no longer see Pedri as number 10, however despite that you would maintain his potential of 88
City with guardiola is the best fit , just like debruyne , him and haaland are made for each other , transitional beasts . They just need to bring frimpong with him
I think Wirtz will fit best at Bayern, pairing him next to Musiala is a duo I really want to see at club level. Bayern this season have had issues with building through the middle, partly due to the tactical set up, but with Wirtz dropping deeper they can address that while allowing Wirtz to involve himself as much as possible in the game. That also benefits Musiala, who this season has been transitioning into more of a goal threat, he has drastically improved the way he attacks the box and with less responsibility in build up, can be even more dangerous. I agree about Kane not necessarily being the ideal striker, they will lack threat on the transition but he isn't the youngest so either way they will have to search for a replacement in 2 or 3 seasons. I see more issues with other teams and I think Bayern are in the best position to sign him, as they have been working on the transfer for years now
@@PythagorasinBoots definitely, but it's worth it. I don't like aspects of Kompany's tactical approach currently, the team is set up to create chances from wide but the wingers are not good enough and don't win their one v ones effectively to cause danger. Bayern have been a bit predictable especially in the last couple of games and I think the team needs a big shift in the approach. I think focusing on creating through the middle with Musiala and Wirtz, arguably the best duo to exploit the halfspaces in Europe than to continue creating from wide which will require a new right back who is better on the overlap and a new left winger who is really good in one v ones
Bro what? Kompany most of the time, dominates the center of the game. There are few exceptions like dortmund and psg but both of them themselves didnt control the center so it was more overcrowded and not played there. Also you're saying bayer wingers are bad, when they aren't... Gnabry again came of an injury yet got 1.6 sucessful dribbles per game, 2 key passes per game and a passing accuracy of 86 '/, with 3 crosses per game. Leroy and olise too were like same like coman. Their playstyles are also different, coman and leroy stays wide but leroy cuts in more and is more attacking, gnabry is more cutting inside and drops in more while olise cuts inside and crosses more, different playstyles. Also, 2 successful dribbles per game is like 95+ percentile so it shows how good or decent pur wingers are. Gnanry ofc is bad at finishing and leroy and coman banged in beautiful goals and olise is consistently scoring. Bayern wingers are goood.
@@W_BayernMunchen_BFC how is 2 successful dribbles per 90 in the 95th percentile, also the only one who manages that is Sane and his game is so predictable that most of the time he loses the ball. Gnabry can't dribble past a player to save his life, Coman is so inconsistent, he can't string two or three good performances, whiteout either getting injured or them being completely useless for the next 10 games. Also if they are all cutting inside constantly then they don't have different play styles, you can argue that Coman is a touchline winger but his crossing is really bad so he isn't exactly dangerous. I would even argue I'm a more moderate Bayern fan and don't completely hate them, if you look in comments of fan pages you will think they are committing war crimes every game.
