I find no matter what i do that if i shave down my neck against the grain i end up with a ton of big cuts, but if i go with it then i dont get all the hairs and end up with a patches of hair still there. I only get this problem with my neck.
Necks are pretty sensitive. Try going with the grain to start then going against the grain with your stroke but with the blade of your razor angled slightly compared to the direction. A bit like a snow plough if that makes sense. The key thing is to pull the skin tight by putting your chin up and maybe using your other hand to pull the skin downwards at the base of your neck. Being the age where I missed buying an original sensor excel, and now at great expense to now own one, I wish they brought that back (not that plastic garbage) I find the Mach 3-fusion grab on the first pass with the grain, not too bad on the against the grain pass.

No wonder from the way your holding the razor you can’t get any good shave that way….you have to put some pressure on the razor to get the maximum use of it and use long strokes not those short choppy strokes you’re doing

I have just reviewed the ProGlide. If you haven't tried it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. In my opinion, much better than the Mach 3

No they don't they don't provide the closest cause once you shave with both you have to do multiple passes just to get the baby close shave
