It's strange... some moments I don't have him as a good actor, but others like this scene... just the look on his face hits like a punch. What a heartbreaking scene
Same, I watched it when I was around 11years old, it stuck with me for about 9 years. It's very special to me because I remember the exact name of the movie and I think it was one, if not the first, that have a strong and lasting impact on me.
The whole thing of Suzie wanting to go home feels like one of those nightmares when you are trying to go somewhere, or to do something, and fore some reason you can't. This movie gave me a feeling I can't quite describe
There is, but my firmed only those who trust in Christ and have had their sins forgiven will go there. Trust in Jesus "no eye has seen, nor ear has heard what glories he has instore for those who love him" Jesus is alive!!!
Only saw first 20 minutes of this movie. But people say it's one of the greatest movies made. And the combination of Mark Wahlberg, Saorise Ronan, and Rachel Weisz only made it that much better
The movie was beautiful. A lot of people who loved the original book were pissed off because it was different from the book. They were just angry because they didn't get an exact copy of the story in the film. Just see the movie without adulterating it with the original book and reading any 'critics' review, judge the movie after you watched, i can assure you, the movie was heart-wrenchingly beautiful.
I didn’t notice Holly’s (Nikki Soohoo) face when I first watched but her compassion and sadness as Susie walks away after Susie says “ I have to go home.” Nikki is a good actress. You can say words, but you must emote. You can say words, but you must emote with body. She did both.
The fact the trailer for this movie, caught my attention when i was 13, is really saying something. I watched the movie and it was hauntingly beautiful, gave me nightmares yes but knowing this movie has a good ending, keeps my anxiety away. Soundtracks for this song by Brian Eno is just so memorable for me as well.
when I first watched this movie I was so lost it took me to watch it again to really understand some of the parts that really left it to ur imagination ....#very good movie ☺
I thought I was the only one 😭 Everyone is so shocked by this movie and described it as traumatizing, but I was just confused and waiting for the traumatizing part to happen 💀💀 I should probably re-watch it too...
That is what upsets me about life. Our minds is the most powerful computer which we fill with so much then one day it's all deleted. Shame it can't be downloaded for others to see.
heaven so beauitful. movie so sad. Its not easy when you lose someone :( cuz all you feel is your heart is hurting :'( like you just want them back wishing there alive
1911 VsGlocks Well, it's not clear in the movie if she had any religion, but we can assume she didn't. And if she did, then yes, Jesus Christ or God himself would appear to her. But this movie is not exactly about religion thou... it's about grief.
I upload the instrumental song by Brian Eno from this scene! The song title is "Wide Heaven"! Here is the music: ua-cam.com/video/geaDtbRsxOA/v-deo.html

Warren Ashley is just a variation of 8m1 there's no such a one song with this at least there's a director's edition around the web. I was looking for a theme like this but there's no online :/ Brian Eno is amazing with soundtracks
Andre Mosley It's all of the killers victims heavens and past lives. It's bits of both. You have the ball from one of his victims, Suzie's Cornfield and her fathers hobby, you have a little bit of something for each girl he killed. It's "in between" Earth and Heaven.
The part where Mark Wahlberg is looking at the ship in the glass broke my heart you can tell he died a little more on the inside
It's strange... some moments I don't have him as a good actor, but others like this scene... just the look on his face hits like a punch. What a heartbreaking scene
No other movie has made me felt the way this movie did.
Same.

Lilac Rose SAME
So sad it happens all the time 😭. I showed my daughter this movie so she could be aware 💔.
Definitely a movie for parents to show their kids.
One of the saddest and most beautiful movies I've ever seen.
B.W. I agree
SHAWNA STICKLE It made me want to read the book, So, I am. It's a good book with a lot more detail on the afterlife and the aftermath of her death.
B.W. agree
True..i watched it long back, but I still find myself reading/browsing the videos of it..It touched my heart❤️.both..the book and the movie!
B.W. yes, it reminds me of "what dreams may come" with Robin Williams.
this movie has many feelings, sad, anger, confusion.
The whole thing of Suzie wanting to go home feels like one of those nightmares when you are trying to go somewhere, or to do something, and fore some reason you can't. This movie gave me a feeling I can't quite describe
I have those dreams almost every night!
If there is an afterlife I would want it to be like this. The cinematography is truly next level.
There is, but my firmed only those who trust in Christ and have had their sins forgiven will go there. Trust in Jesus "no eye has seen, nor ear has heard what glories he has instore for those who love him"
Jesus is alive!!!

The birds leaving the tree is a beautiful scene, they knew she wasn't ready. Who can?? Imagine being there and watch your loved ones.
This makes me go through the five stages of grief
This was one of the most beautiful and well-played movie I ever seen.
Only saw first 20 minutes of this movie. But people say it's one of the greatest movies made. And the combination of Mark Wahlberg, Saorise Ronan, and Rachel Weisz only made it that much better
I think the movie is fantastic
Michael T The movie was beautiful and told a story that was different then many others told.

The cgi in this movie was beautiful, better than most cgi done now.
So sad to know that this movie was based on true events. Breaks my heart.
Albert Blue it was noooooooooo that is so heart breaking

ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE
I love the depiction of Heaven.
This movie made me cry but the book is even worse

Kimberly Nicole definitely! I was listening to it on audible at school and I was holding back tears so hard 😭
Wait they have a book???
@@tywent6442 yes! this movie was based off a book called lovely bones by Alice sebold!
I cried so hard my friend Adrianna was murdered by her neighbor a few years ago
I’m so sorry ❤️
I’m sorry for your loss. I hope whoever killed her rots in prison.
😔 I pray her soul is resting in a beautiful place 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
My condolences to you, and her family. It's such a horrible reality..
So sorry
This is the 2nd movie that had made me cry. 1st movie was "What dreams may come"
0:24 if anything is true, it’s this statement. Beyond everything we know.
The music
I first watched this movie when my mum told me I would learn a life lesson she was right a very touching film

this whole movie was a fever dream
That's where and when the other girls died.
This is pure imagination ;w;
This is one of my favorite scenes ever, its very sad how she got there, but when its our time to go, i hope it looks just like this in the in between
I LOVED the dream scene. My dreams looked exactly like this it was like an out of body experience when I got to see it on a screen.
This movie shows the perfect stages of griefs, denial.
This kind of reminds me of heaven 🌾🌄🕍
The move and the book are so good. Very hard to read/eat bc bc of the subject matter, but very very good
THIS MOVIE UNDENIABLY SPEAK STAGES OF GRIEF
Ugh the idea of losing all your life memories is terrifying
That is what upsets me about life. Our minds is the most powerful computer which we fill with so much then one day it's all deleted. Shame it can't be downloaded for others to see.

1911 VsGlocks i think he represents the Tree

I love the part we’re theirs the moon on 1 side and the sun on the other with a tree of life in the middle
I’d love to see Oliver Harper do retrospective of this movie one day. Because I saw it about five times already.
I upload the instrumental song by Brian Eno from this scene! The song title is "Wide Heaven"! Here is the music:

Did anyone notice the items of the other girls? The ball, the hat? Mind blown when I realised
Man if the after life really exist I wish it’s like this.
She reminds me of the girl from 'The Host'
she is the same actress...
Yeah, this movie was a gut-punch. And the fact they were so close to finding her body but never did.
Heaven is real the Garden of Eden is real the tree of life will be soon here.
I really want a painting of the two oceans one with the moon and one with sun and with the tree in the distance
I wanna see all of these when I die

I know for a fact Mark Wahlberg placed the bottle down slowly after the video cut off.

How is this sad?
You're kidding, right?
You didn't watch the movie?
Nadia AG yes, but this scene wasn't sad imo, but the scene where her dad realize Mr Harvey killed her was the saddest to me...
A child was raped and killed
Dawnn Lui No, it's a movie, thank god..but in my opinion this scene is not sad...
