I like small wheels too. I have worn 50mm wheels with my vallely Elephant on the edge reissue. My other normal board has 51mm and they are max size. Big wheels feel like i'm skating a monster truck.
@Evan Jolley Yeah big wheels are better for cruising. Our streets are horribly rough. When they are new, they are great but after few winters they are like riding on gravel.
I have normal wide 50mm wheels and the other are skinny 51mm (Spitfire radial slims) and the difference for rolling is huge!

775 too small. Got one tried it out. Couldn't do it.
8 is perfect for me in street.
But i just got a 8.5 set up With rails.
Its perfect for bowls, hills, curbs.
i have the same shape and wb in 7.75", 8" and 8.25" depending on what and where im skating! same trucks and wheels on all setups.
Am I the only one who thinks a 8.25 is kind of small?
That's as small as I can go without it feeling like a toothpick. I like 8.5
I skate street on a 7.75.....that's like a tank to me 😂😊
Larry Jimbob I used to skate only 7.6-7.75s in the mid 90s with 7.75” venture lows and 50mm spitfire classics, now I skate 8.25s everyday

Just saw spitfire lock ins. Interested to try them
They’re great for rough surfaces and going fast bro, but they’re kinda wide so it’s tougher to nose slide and tail slide on the them for me at least
Don’t like them. Can’t rotate your wheels so they don’t cone and last longer
@@TheLongjohndong you can flip them, you lose the lockin ability though

How many people end up riding with their back truck slightly looser than the front truck? 😊
I'm the opposite. Tighter back truck than front.
Back truck quarter to half a turn tighter. I ride a lot of transition and bowls though. I always have more weight over the tail. Feels equal to me when riding.
I solely street skate. I prefer a slightly looser back truck to turn or carve hard to avoid any trouble that pops up outta nowhere like pedestrians/cars etc 😊
