Great work mate 👏🏼👏🏼 she looks, sounds & I’m sure smells awesome 😎 Thanks for the mention bud and looking forward to seeing her soon in all her glory 👌
Thanks mate. She smells lovely by the way 😆👍
Only just found this video.
Excellent. After my KR1 rebuild I had odd to zero temp gauge readings. Cured mine with a new, independent earth from the gauge to the engine block. Sorted !!!!!
Hello. I had to put a earth wire from the sensor to the frame. All working now 👍
Ahh the sound of a 2 stroke, gave me goosebumps watching this and what a stunning bike. Just watched part 1 to remind me how it was and what an amazing job you have done 👍
Thanks. It looks a bit different from when I got it 😆
Nice toy 👍
Wow amazing job .. built from scratch .. fantastic.
When I was 16 dad built me a Yamaha Dt50m which was for the most part in bin liners in a chap’s garage.
I’m 51 now mark and probably like yourself ridden nearly everything where funds have allowed.
Again amazing work congratulations 👏
Thanks. Yes been lucky and had many bikes over the years like yourself. It’s nice to experience different bikes 👍
What a lovely little beast 👍👍
Fantastic build , enjoyed every episode. Look forward to seeing your next build.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 👍
I really enjoyed your rebuild.....lots of patience and a fantastic workshop.Great that you still seem to be able to get most of the parts that you need.
Hello. Thanks. Yes lots of parts still available for them 👍
Great video really enjoyed the build from start to finish fantastic job stay safe 🇬🇧👍
Thanks for watching 😬👍
Dry roads,,,, not so lucky in Northamptonshire 😀
Cracked me up,,,, start of video "won't go over 6k revs" on the way back that changed to " I won't go over 7k revs" 😀😃🙂 Brilliant, sounded awesome and looked even better, we could hear in your voice how excited you were ,,,Nice one!
Well it had done a couple of miles so could go up to 7k on the way home 😆
Stunning bike and restoration, thanks for sharing it all 👍 I took mine out yesterday and didn’t get it wet, fully run in they sound nuts flat out which I’m addicted to again.
Thanks. It’s good you got out on yours to. Yes looking forward to opening it right up. Should sound great 😬👍
GREAT LOOKING BIKE. nice rebuild. love the shotley road .
Thanks. You must be local then 👍
Looks amazing proper street racer sweet ride wish I’d got one ☝️
I had a 1994 RGV250 in black/mint when I was 18 and loved it. Cost me £1800 a year to insure and I got hit by a car that pulled out on me within the first few weeks of buying it, written off but I bought it back and repaired it. It suffered from misfiring in the wet on the bottom cylinder and eventually ate the rings and scuffed the barrel on that same cylinder. Sadly I had to p/x after fitting a new ring kit, got a 1994 600 bandit.
You was very unlucky with that RGV.
Great videos, making lust after another stroker
Thanks 👍
We’ll done mate. Good job. Can’t wait to get mine on the rd
Thanks 👍
Great stuff Mark. I have a 1991 JDM VJ22 (sliver / black). I'm at about your part 3 or 4 - your an inspiration mate, happy New Year to you.
That’s good to here. Hope it goes well for you 😬👍
Well done looking fine
I have really enjoyed watching this build, i’m a bit late to the party I know but what’s happened to to RGV be great for an update, you’ve done a brilliant job in a few months what’s taken me years 😂
Hello. Thanks for watching. I have sold it now and started up a new business. It’s called Itching to Ride Giveaways if you’re interested. Can follow on Facebook and Instagram. Will be a UA-cam channel soon as well 👍

Great video series !!! Amazing job you did on her mate ! Be great to see a vid when shes run in just to hear those pipes sing with the power valves wide open :)
Thanks. That’s a good idea. Might do that 👍
Wow she looks beautiful mate
Thank you 👍
Excellent work mate! Really good to see it on the road!! Keep it man!!!!! Just imagine the summer fun.................😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you. It’s nice to ride. Will probably sell it. I have plans for Itching to ride and need the money for that. We will see 👍
@@itchingtoride Willing buyer here. Not the usual wannabe buyer.
@@G100666 Hello thanks for your interest. I will let you know 👍
@@itchingtoride Thanks
I am going to sell the RGV. Is it something your still interested in. £8,250 Ono.
Nice!
Amazing restoration. Please don't sell it! I've got a TZR250 2MA I need to sort out, so will hopefully get some summer riding in!
Thanks but I have already sold it mate. Hope you get to enjoy your TZR250 in the summer 😬👍
Sounds sweet that does, you'll keep it I bet 😂
Thanks. We will see 😬
Hi Mark, happy new year another superb renovation.
I am a subscriber to the channel and indeed sent you a thanks today. Some time back you were kind enough to give me a supplier of Yamaha parts. I have a question for you. I have an old YZ125 G scrambler in the UK which I purchased from the old Mitsui in Chessington Surrey in 1979. I haven’t ridden the bike for some considerable time, and the bike is in storage at my brother’s home. I have been toying with the idea of refurbishing it for some considerable time and wonder if is it a project that you would consider undertaking on your channel?
Hello. Thanks for the offer but I don’t like doing other people’s bikes really. It’s ok working on your own bikes if something goes wrong. If it’s someone else’s it’s a different story. I really appreciate the the offer though 😬👍
I had that exact bike
There great little bikes 👍
Great job.. used to have a lucky strike and sold it. Regretted it ever since. How much dya want for it ? 😂
Thanks. Probably about £7,500-£8,000. I have other people that say they are interested. I haven’t made my mind up yet if I will sell it. I probably will but need to sort the temperature gauge out first. I can let you know if I do if you like.
What a little beauty. Did you end up selling her in the end?
Hello. Yes sold it now. I used the money to start a new business up. It’s called Itching to Ride Giveaways. You can win motorcycle gear. It’s on Facebook and UA-cam. Might be something your interested in. Thanks Mark. www.itchingtoridegiveaways.com
Ah, that’s a shame (about you selling it). I had a VJ21 back in the day, that I bought new on a G plate from AR’s in Lowestoft. To this day, it’s the only bike I’ve ever regretted selling. I’d have snapped your hand off. 😂 Good luck with the new venture.
Stick some ZX1 in the two stroke tank. and gearbox. Say good bye to seizures no matter how you thrash it. Makes gear change even sweeter too. 10 miles is enough to run it in.. :) you do not know how it really runs until you go above 8,500.. if right it is slowly up to 8500 then instantly12000 change, change, change, change.. BEND! lol I have 3 needing rebuilding.. and enough spares for at least 1 more.
Can i daily one of these how reliable are they if i do general 2 stroke maintenance?
