A reaction to Parkway Drive “The Void - Live at Waaken “……is a killer video & song !…..The band & the concertgoers were lit AF !……It’s a banger song with a great couple of riffs & a catchy af melody/chorus & a scorching solo…..Plus his voice isn’t so “harsh”

I think you would love the drumming on Body Bag by I Prevail. May be their heaviest song, but it's so well done. They have a ton of great songs though
Its Metalcore* just think like this metalcore is the poppish side of metal( little bit slower comoared to other metal very catchy "pretty sounding guitars" mix of clean and harsh vocals big oemphasis on choruses and contains usually pop style lyrics, love life, depression happiness etc usually a positive note or something to relate to
Metalcore- falling in reverse, parkwaydrive, as i lay dying etc
Deathcore- bands like LORNA SHORE (groovy, heavy, heavier than metal core but still groovy and bouncy heavy vocals but not obnoxiously overboard, still has a rythmy beat to catch, lots of breakdowns and just breaks in general from blast beats lyrics are pretty consistent with metalcore, they just sound harsger and evil but usually its not most are positive also relatable context
Deathmetal - cannibal corpse, infant anhilator (none of which i reccomend everything just cranked to 11 and overly obnoxious just for the sake of veing obnoxious very fast very loud 0-100 rarely any breakdowns no room to breathe usually with very obscene and vulgar lyrics almost always negative never relatable mostly fantasies of murder and other stuff i dont wanna mention) THIS IS THE METAL THAT GIVES THE REST A BAD NAME BECAUSE OF ITS CONTENT
Lots of other genres like classic- metallica, guns n roses etc but its way too many to give examples for all i tried grab bands i think i seen you react too that you can hopefully associate with when hearing these metal genres just to give you a idea of what to expect
