Just saw this and confirms what I've been doing was right and your extra steps helped out even more as I'm trying to make Bismarck depicted as she was just a little before the war broke out.
The bismarck actually had the swastika rotated another 45 degrees from this, with the arms basically as a center axis through the ship bow to stern. Look at pictures of the wreck of the bismarck. You can still clearly see it
I have to deny you, the drawing is correct, one of the very rare images of the original that I cannot attach proves it. The period is of the very first operational phase, that of the start of the exercises🙂
@@giuseppeserio4043 well I hate to have to explain this, but take a look at the images of the wreck on the ocean floor......... there is plenty of them that show it clear as if it were lit up by the sun. :)
@@giuseppeserio4043 not criticizing by any means at all though. They look great to be honest. That was supposed to be part of my first comment, explaining that I actually like them that way betterthanhistorically accurate. Excellent work bud.
Spray a little clear gloss on each masking and wait until it dries before moving on to paint jobs. It will seal the masking - particularly on the wood deck - and avoid bleed through😋
Yes the swastika rotation is incorrect but it doesn't matter. Throwing HISTORICAL ACCURACY in the face of political correctness is priceless. Nice work sir.
thanks for the reminder but it was intentionally done just to make it a little bit different and recognizable but it will back to the original position in the final build my friend, keep safe always.
@@ArdeconHobby i done the same as you then eased the deck off the hull and started all over again.. i prefer to paint rather than apply decals and seal with tamiya clear matt XF86 looks better I think!
@@ArdeconHobby i found out long ago not to follow the kits building steps either.. Airfix were bad for that especially the bigger 1/24 aircraft the Stuke Ju87B nearly waisted the aforementioned kit because of their building program £76 back in the 70's!... the two stage kranked wings were the problem!
@@secretm.5896 ok, the build is ongoing now just if you hit the notification you'll be notified once the video is uploaded, maybe early of April or late of this month, just watch out my friend, keep safe always.

thanks, Roy that this help.
Nice looking results!
Thanks, mate.

Great swastikas on ebay also the 1/200 scale very easy to apply and thin enough for deck planking to dhow through.

right, may friend, thanks for the advice.
Magnífico, voy a hacerlo en mi modelo, no sabía cómo hacerlo. Gracias
Gracias mi amigo.

thanks, my friend,
Nice work for homemade. I didn't know about the location but the one on the bow is out of wack. The port side is weird looking. NICE Jingle I LIKE IT
thank you, my friend.
It's in the wrong position, but it looks more cool, nice work

enjoy modeling mate.
Amazing video!!💙💙
beautiful
thanks, my friend.
The original was turned 45 degrees.
right, friend
Nice work friend!!
thanks, friend.
I stopped at 0:53 into your video...why didn't you do this deck painting of the insignia while the deck was separate from the hull of the ship??
I don't know friend I've just done this for a tutorial only.
Wow well done
do the deck first with the paint work then apply the deck to the hull! fantastic work first class for all that work!
thanks, David.

Good work! How many millimeters have the yellow mask? And the white circle diameter? Thank you
I'm not gonna lie it looks way cooler this way
Thanks, my friend.
normal cooler
what mask did you use to cut out the swastica? that is the most difficult part...
I’ve seen this before, but the swastica was straight front to back. Which way was it ??
this is just a concept, the straiglht is the right one friend.
Hi, nice work. May i ask what is the circle cover in 2:45 made of?
looks like a circular cutout from a wood deck kit??( Gun barbette )
Nice work but in the worng direction - sorry I'm only yoking. This time it is great
Ha ha ha, I've doubled check it already, thanks, my friend.
@Cloud Burst 117 leave him alone.
Very nice but there on ebay for £9 and they look the part so less hassle.
Great work but incorrect alignment of swastika.
Thanks my friend for the reminder.
It is right to draw like this
@@Moongtangyee not aligned....great painting but swastika should be straight on Bismarck....
Would have been cool if it was painted correctly, not rotated.
You're right my, friend but in the final will be back to the right position. Thanks for your concern.
@@ArdeconHobby cool please show us the final result as I am planning on doing this to my Bismarck model too.
