I like that you changed it up a little. Neat seeing some snacks from Canada! I basically live right near the border of it, so I may have to jaunt down there and grab some snacks sometime. XD
Kraft makes the most popular PB in Canada. Hawkins is a family-owned company and has been making Cheezies since 1949. Maltesers, Aero, and Smarties are Canadian versions of the British originals. Always great to see Bruno. Cheers from Ottawa! 🇨🇦
Maltesers aren't Canadian though, they're British. 👀 They are so very, very British. 👌 Canada just has them. Also fuzzy peaches used to be sooooo much better but they changed them in the last decade and it made me sad lol. 😢
Im mostly just confused that they disliked them and apparently even dislike the taste of malt, how is that even possible, it's a very basic sweet nutty almost caramel like flavor, in the case of maltesers combined with honeycomb flavor, how does anybody dislike that??? These videos are starting to convince me that American taste buds are just weird, if its not detecting 10+ chemicals then their brain concludes that something tastes bad? 😂
Hawkin's Cheezies are very salty. But the King of cheese doodle type snax. As a kid, a bag of those bastards and an Orange Fanta might be all I got to last until dinner time during harvest (Western Canada). Maybe a thermos of tea, as well. They rule.
🇨🇦here. Those are all my favourite chocolate bars. (Not candy bars!) don’t like all dressed chips but love the ruffles - less salt regular flavour cause I’m old. You guys are harsh😉
Where was the MAPLE????? (and at the risk of being despised as negative - Tyler! these videos do not need weird music in the background - embrace the silence! we don't care - we enjoy listening to YOU!!!) 😘
Almost! It was actually Sea Bass, but you knew the part of the movie 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. When Harry and Lloyd go to put everything on Sea Bass’s tab 🤣🤣. Waitress: “Sea Bass said that?? 🤨” Lloyd: “Well uh, if that guy at the table over there is Sea Bass 😅😅” SEA BASS:👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽, 👇🏽👇🏽, 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
@@3brv HAHA!!😂😂😂 I honestly love that scene/movie so much and when sea bass gets hit by the salt shaker and his buddy yells "kick his ass, sea bass!" just kills me ever time😆😆😆
You need to try Covered Bridge Storm Chips, made here in New Brunswick. Whenever a storm is forecast, people in the Maritimes are known for stocking up on chips, pizza, and beers, etc. Covered Bridge came up with Storm Chips, which come in a bigger bag and contain a mix of Creamy Dill, Homestyle Ketchup, Smokin' BBQ and Salt & Vinegar chips. They are kind of like All-Dressed chips.
Glad you love the treats! Loved watching you two try all the items. The Swiss Chalet sauce is for dipping roast chicken 🍗 😊 Yes, the Kraft Peanut Butter is a fan favorite with my U.S. sweepstakes buddies. As you are starting a cooking channel I will send you the recipes for Nanaimo Bars and Butter Tarts ❤
Those cheezies are the best!! my favorite for sure, love coffee crisp. Our fuzzy peach candies are the best...well other than ones in Europe. Glad someone sent you some canadian treats 🇨🇦 I was going to soon but I would have sent a lot of the same. Have you ever had Nanaimo bars????
The teser of malteser is pronounced teaser. Mal-teaser. 😂 I’m devastated you didn’t like my favorite candy (a movie theater staple in the UK) but I’ll continue to subscribe hahahaha
My American friends thought the ketchup chips were revolting. They were also disappointed that iced tea is not much of a thing here. And unsweetened ice tea is not a thing at all.
I’m from Canada and the crunchy bar is my favorite. It is very good. You should actually put it in the fridge for a while and then take it out and eat it. It’s sponge toffee it’s an acquired taste and Mr. Biggs you guys got the small big there’s a king size Mr. big😂😂😂
Malteser. Malt. Lol never make that connection, I just loved as a kid how they melted 😅 they are popular in switzerland too. But its funny, that dipthing? It has something with swiss like on it, hasn't it? Never heard or seen. I think lots of products take the swiss for marketing. Protected is only the little swissflag, and people connect good things with the word 'swiss' on food and stuff. Speaking of, do you have had someone already sending you goodies and curiosities from switzerland? Beside the staldercreme? And "2 Dads cooking: Ep 1'Title'" would be totally a thing to watch. 😂
I need western media to pull their heads out of their collective asses because I'm watching so much anime that when they tried the wunderbar my first thought was "oooh an indirect kiss... "
Canadian here. I have never like the Mr Big or the Oh Henry bars. The same with Areos, kids usually go for those more, as with Smarties. I have found that Coffee Crisp bars are a like it or hate it with my American friends. Ruffles do make great chips. I grew up in Nova Scotia and you can get Roast Chicken flavoured chips there as well as Ketchup and the All Dressed. Yes, we have Poutine flavoured Lays. The Crunch bar is “honey comb” candy coated in chocolate, it’s not as good as it was years ago. We have Skor bars which are like Heath Bars, I prefer Heath. Lol. Our Dr Pepper tastes different from the American one, I prefer American Dr Pepper. I prefer the Natural Kraft peanut butter, no sugar or other stuff added. Swiss Chalet was okay, I personally prefer the Quebec chain St Hubert chicken and dipping sauce. I prefer the Cheetos Crunch-its over Hawkins Cheezies. I will have to gather some Canadian goodies for you and send a few recipes
Can’t wait to see you try the Swiss Chalet Sauce, very polarizing sauce here in Canada 😂 Try it with some rotisserie chicken. Mr Big and Maltesers were the worst thing you could get on Halloween how do they still sell those?
Maltesers, Crunchie and Smarties are three of my favourites. I let those melt in my mouth though. Smarties even have a song about it. 😄 The chocolate covering the Maltesers is much better, tastier than the one on Whoppers to me. Caramilk and Aero are not as good as they use to be, they changed the quality of the chocolate. I used to like them, I don't anymore.
Why are you guys constantly looking up and to the left? Is that where the monitor is lol? Like the vid, it’s my first one it’s just hard to not notice it.
9:24 it's not nougat, there's no nougat in a wunderbar at all. It's chocolate, caramel and a peanut butter center! Lol you guys have eaten so many bad MRE's that your tongues and tastebuds are destroyed! You want something floral eat a whole pack of Thrills not just 1 piece! Lol
Canada makes the two best flavor of potato chips in existence, All Dressed, and, Ketchup!
It's true. We also have chicken chips.
WHHHHAAATTTTTT
I was wondering why there weren't any ketchup chips!
Everyone always forgets Dill Pickle, or his hot sexy cousin, Spicy Dill Pickle.
@@Butterworthdasyrup we need a ketchup and spicy (or not spicy) dill pickle chip review!
Hawkins is a family run business and they have never advertised. They always sel out what they make.
For the Swiss Chalet Gravy, a Costco Chicken, or roasting a chicken at home, and some lightly salted fries would be a pretty good bet.
I like that you changed it up a little. Neat seeing some snacks from Canada! I basically live right near the border of it, so I may have to jaunt down there and grab some snacks sometime. XD
Swiss Chalet sauce is for a grocery store rotisserie chicken and some fries.

Confirmed. American taste buds are damaged… 😁
Confirmed the moment they said the Cheezies weren't that salty.
@@rschrader 😩😩😩 my taste buds are beautiful! How dare you guys!! 🤣
King of the world, automatic bartering champ if you get a Coffee Crisp in an IMP..

Hawkins Cheezies for life!!! 🇨🇦
cool vid! background music was a little loud at times though. anyway, love goes out to both of you
Cafe international! I used to love that coffee with the red lid.
Hawkin's Cheezies are very salty. But the King of cheese doodle type snax. As a kid, a bag of those bastards and an Orange Fanta might be all I got to last until dinner time during harvest (Western Canada). Maybe a thermos of tea, as well. They rule.

Being in Canada and seeing this is funny because we have access to a lot of American snacks here but you guys don't have our Canadian ones haha
on the jos Louis box, both "s" are silent. so it's pronounced more like Joe Louie. great content, keep up the good work gentlemen.
Where was the MAPLE????? (and at the risk of being despised as negative - Tyler! these videos do not need weird music in the background - embrace the silence! we don't care - we enjoy listening to YOU!!!) 😘
I like this. I'm gonna be searching my Australian shops for goodies for you.
All of the good snacks, eh!! Love these videos !! Watching from Canada!!
You guys crack me up!! Love it!!
International Delights "coffee" were delightful in the 80s and 90s.
The hand motion is Jim Carrey from dumb and dumber when Jeff Daniels throws the salt shaker at sea bass.

Caramel also a similar candy bar with a rum and butter flavoured filling.

"Viele viele bunte Smarties". That was the commercial jingle for smarties here in Germany when i was a kid... loooooooved smarties as a kid ! 😇
For the Swiss Chalet sauce, make some fries. Not shoestring make the type you get from 5 guys.
DadDinners, your videos are fantastic. Appreciate the smiles. Incorporate Perfect and not perfect more. 😂
Should have had "Coffin Crisp" in this season
Mr. Big reminds me of my junior high band concerts. I would always get one at the store before performances.

I love coffee crisps. I'd also love if you dropped the music. It's so hard to hear you talking, and you talking is what we are here for. Love you!
I agree on malt flavor - to me it seems like the addition of malt is making the product taste stale on purpose.
🤣🤣🤣. I feel like the stale feel/crunch of the candy is like a special formula.
love the content!
Any other Canadians here old enough to remember the Caramilk ad with the devil? So good.
I love smarties cause of the thicker candy coating they don’t melt as fast in your mouth
I like all your videos!! Keep being real. 😊

there is 100% poutine flavoured chips and also best sour cream chips are sour cream and bacon

Titles for the new Channel:
Cooked to dad
Dad cooking is rough
Dads some meals
any other combination of dead/dad and food XD
Wunderbars are much better frozen (or at least chilled)
With the Swiss Shelley sauce, it’s best to pair it with a rotisserie chicken also a little bit of mashed potato sometimes as like a alternative gravy
I really don't get the hype over Peanut Butter Oh Henry Bars, the regular ones are way better

Is there GMO in their snacks?
How about “Dads Can Cook?”

sad theres no crispy crunch its my go too for chocolate
Whoppers
I thought you Americans loved peanut butter. I'm confused.

This guy does not fit in the image and why is he wearing a hat. Don’t like people not showing their eyes.
Stick to poutine and maple syrup, Canucks 🤓
Crunchies and chocolate are not Canadian chocolates, they were invented in the uk. Whereas Canadians have coffee crisps we Brits have toffee crisps.
