When I was a child growing up in Jamaica in the 80’s our only TV station at the time (JBC) would air these every evening at 5pm some of my best memories watching with my parents, Bob will always be our guy 🙏🏾🇯🇲
I literally play a whole season starting from the 1st episode on autoplay to help me fall asleep. It never fails me. On the plus side i also noticed i never have any bad dreams. It's amazing for insomniacs. Bob Ross saving lives.

For a home that I've never been to. One that doesn't exist but on that canvas and in my imagination. Thank you Bob Ross. Rest where perpetual light may shine upon you.

Bob Ross has single handedly calmed me down over 200 times. He has successfully taught me how to paint beautifully, and has encouraged me to feed the squirrels every day. Bob Ross is the god of Art, Serenity, and Nature. This man^^^
The best thing about Bob is that he knows what he needs to do for the painting, but he still says things like "Oh! Maybe maybe maybe... we'll do this!" "Oh! I see something here! Let's get crazy!" Like he's coming up with it on the fly, making it even more fun to watch and see what he's gonna do.
I had never noticed that. It makes him all the more endearing, to hear him take you on an adventure like that, instead of going, "What you must do now is..." Which is pretty impressive considering how he always had a finished painting just off-camera.
When I was a little bit younger, he learned me so much by watching him...I don't know why but he seems to be a really good person, I am glad he existed 😭

I used to watch this show when i was a kid, i believe it was on Sundays and that was the highlight of my week. I just loved watching his canvasses come to life. Not to mention his voice was so relaxing.

Ohh, what a nostalgia seeing Bob Ross on a screen, I watched dozens of episodes back in a days just admiring the whole happy positive vibe he was creating with each painting ❤❤❤
I like to think about how the magic of Bob Ross came to be.. I can picture it perfectly: he finds relief from tough times in his life through painting - it becomes his passion, and he shares his methods with the world so they can join in with him and experience the same path of therapy that he walked. When he made these videos, alot of the magic and good vibes of him teaching and helping others was captured when he was showing others how to paint.. and now, even though almost none of us are painting along with him, we still feel the peace and calm emanating from his videos. It was, after all, only people who were painting, and truly traveling alongside him, who were watching these videos, originally.. he never could have foreseen just how much joy and peace his painting could have brought to others simply by watching.

Sometimes I do wake up to the intro/outro music but usually fall back asleep in a minute. Now the UA-cam ads, on the other hand... that's a bigger problem x_x
