Thank you for tips & tricks on the Sole Cooling System. Would like to remind all collegue sailors to refresh cooling liquid regularly (at least yearly I would say). Using a product that applies to all specific engine elements (especially metals). Likely you will not find the exact product advised to in your engine manual. Corrosion problems can get as far as an eat-off of the alluminium cooler reservoir itself.
Great job servicing the cooling system 👍wasn't a lot of gunk in there, especially being in the tropics, says a lot for the fresh water flushing system 👍 Glad there was enough spares there 😁 What a great guy the previous owner was 👍🤣🤣🤣
Hi guys, I take it Rachel has taken up the rolls of engine servicing supervisor and uv monitor ! Good to see you giving the engine some tlc no sailor wants to be using their engine all the time however they can be life savers. Cheers Stewart.
@@AllTheStarsSailing they’re out already but you need a reasonable lithium iron bank and an equally reasonable array of solar panels which given your location shouldn’t be a problem, oh yeah and a bloody massive bank balance!
Great video thank you for making it. Looks like your motor has extra stainless bits, pipe work, exhaust elbow etc. Loctite 77124 Nickel Anti-Seize would be a good product to use on those stainless exhaust studs. Red threadlocker softens at about 150'C
Thanks for sharing this useful video. I am going to do the same on my mini 33
I am with Rachel, being a supervisor and providing encouragement! So looking forward to the return of my favourite almost naked chef!
Thanks Lisa! We hope you guys are enjoying the new rig!
Take care until next time x
Compliments on the super clean engine and well lit engine bay guys! Bliss. Nothing like a good donk!!
Thanks Leon!
Well explained, like in a technical school. 👍
Danke schöne Peter!! Du bist toll auch!
