    • @YECC-LEARNING
      @YECC-LEARNING  2 роки тому

      Hi Parthasaradhi,
      Yes, it will surely be beneficial. As far as the work pressure is concerned, it is going to be there in the initial 3-4 years. As it's a service industry, and a client facing job, upward and downward spikes in work volume depending upon the phase of project will be there. If you are keen in good exposure, I can surely advise you give it a try!

      Usually, when it comes to Cloud-based ERP software, SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 are considered as Tier 1 ERPs - or global leaders. A few other names are - Netsuite, Infor. For a consulting career, any of these - especially the first 3 mentioned names can be a good choice.

    Hi Rajesh, very informative and clear video about ERP consulting career. I am going to enter this career as an ERP consultant, as I know the company is using Microsoft D365. I want to know that if this step can foster me to get into a role like business analyst inside in-house company? Thanks!

    • @YECC-LEARNING
      @YECC-LEARNING  Рік тому

      Hi Alvin, glad that you found the video useful. I assume, by phrase 'business analyst inside in-house company', you mean that you want to be an ERP Specialist on the rolls of a company supporting the already-implemented ERP in that company. Starting job as ERP Consultant will definitely help you get into that kind of role. However, I suggest, the more exposure & growth is in the ERP Consultant role - working with a typical IT or Consulting company & working on different end clients. As far as product is concerned, D365 should be a decent choice - can offer good prospects. Hope this helps!

      Hi Anwar, yes - certainly. Generally, there is no hard & fast requirement of specific qualification for being an ERP consultant. For being a functional ERP consultant, what you need to have is - good business processes knowledge, good communication skills, and good analytical skills. Considering your background, HCM or SCM could be good domains for you to look for. Hope that helps.

    After 3 year of experience how much CTC expected employees

    • @YECC-LEARNING
      @YECC-LEARNING  Рік тому

      Hi Akash, it can depend on multiple factors. However, if you have a reasonable exposure to implementation & support assignments in these 3 years, and are good enough at your job, then expected CTC can be anywhere between INR 12-16 LPA. This, however, also depends upon multiple macro factors as well - such as industry demand, need of the company, etc. Hope that clarifies. - Team YECC

      Scope is definitely good. However, after 10 years of domain experience, when you switch to a new career, you may again need to start as a fresher in Oracle Consulting career. So the pay package, flexibility etc. may be a little tricky. It will depend upon your qualification + kind of experience you have & a few other things. Hi Vijendra,
      With that much experience, it may be practically difficult for you to switch to something like ERP Consulting as a career.. Unless you are ready to sacrifice on the compensation that you can expect in the beginning phase.. That's the only thing you may need to consider. Otherwise ERP Consulting can be a great career opportunity! Also, not sure why you have specifically chosen MS Dynamics to build your career in. If you have got any solid background in it, that makes sense. If you are a beginner there, explore SAP or Oracle Consulting. That gives you better exposure IMHO. Hope that helps.

      Hi Nityashali,
      At individual level, it does not make much difference. Both will offer great career prospects. Both are Tier 1 ERPs (though Oracle is ahead of MS Dynamics when it comes to Cloud ERP market share, deal sizes, no. of clients etc.) and both ERPs are from great companies who provide & back the great support & consulting ecosystem. So, as an individual consultant, you can choose whatever you are getting opportunity for.

    How much is it the salary for ERP Sr Constant?

    • @YECC-LEARNING
      @YECC-LEARNING  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Fabiano,
      It depends upon your qualification, prior domain experience if any, and interview performance. In Indian context, if you are an MBA fresher with no domain experience, starting salary may range between INR 4 to 5 Lakhs Per Annum. In 3-4 years, it can grow 3-4X from there tentatively if your performance is really good. However, this is just an average. Individual cases may differ. Hope that clarifies.

    Hi
    im a qualified CA starting my career with workforce after 1 year into freelancing. As im interested in technology domain i was trying for erp consultant roles as such
    Now that i have bagged 2 offers, .one is from an MNC firm where i will be paid 9LPA intially in statutory audit domain for which Im not so inclined to the role
    The other is an offer as a functional consultant from a firm which provides oracle erp services. First 3 to 6 months would be more into training...initial pay is 7 LPA and i was asked to sign a 2 year bond as well...even if bond doesnt come into picture i pretty much wanted to attain expertise in the role as my intent is long term
    Keeping these factors in mind...are there any suggestions to me ? I just want to hear more from you so that i could clear my decision fatigue
    Thanks for the video though...much help

    • @YECC-LEARNING
      @YECC-LEARNING  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for reaching out. Since you are at the beginning of your career, I personally feel that preference can safely be given to your aspiration/ calling over the opening package. If you consider 3-5 years time horizon (which is legit if you have long term intent), I m pretty sure the monetary aspect will be compensated. Also, in the beginning, it will anyways be advisable to stick to your first company at least for 2-3 years. So, bond, if viewed from this perspective, can be considered a positive part. So, all in all, go for the role which you are inclined to. Other things should follow. Hope that helps. All the best! 👍

    Hi Rajesh, wonderful videos. Also glad to know that you are a an alumni from RA Podar college. I am very junior to you but share the same alma mater. I am currently pursuing my CA Final exam (multiple attempts now) while working as a functional consultant in Microsoft Dynamics. I have found keen interest in this profile but pretty stuck with my acamedic growth.
    1. How important is it that I complete my CA degree for vertical growth in this industry?
    2. At time I feel very unmotivated about pursuing finals, I am open to getting a Masters degree from abroad as well. Do you think any masters degree could add utility in this industry post work exp?
    3. How do you compare Dynamics with Oracle or SAP from finance consultant pov, is this the right software.

    • @YECC-LEARNING
      @YECC-LEARNING  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Pushkar,
      Good to know the Podar connection! Also, glad to know that you are finding the ERP Consulting profile interesting. To answer your specific questions -
      1. Definitely not undermining the overall importance of a strong degree like CA, however, I feel, once you enter into this ERP Consulting profile & gain an experience of 2-3 years or more, the qualification won't matter much. Your career progression will largely depend upon the expertise in this domain & your performance. However, I agree that the degree like CA gives you a cushioning against the professional risks.
      2. As mentioned in Point#1 above, once you get into this profile, the degree would hardly matter - provided you want to grow your career in the core consulting/ solutioning. If you want to get into project/ program management/ delivery/ general management, then an MBA might help for sure!
      3. I feel that, at an individual level, the product does not matter much - as far as it's a global Tier 1 ERP product like SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle Netsuite etc., all will provide you with plenty of opportunities. So, if you have already been in MS Dynamics for close to 2-3 years (I am assuming), then I feel it won't make much sense to change the product. If, however, you are just starting, you may consider getting into SAP or Oracle - those being larger players than D365.
      Hope that helps. You can connect any time on Linked In if you need to discuss more! Happy to help.
      - Rajesh

    Also, what do you think of any of the above course, which would be better from long term growth perspective as I'd love to visit global countries but want to settle in India only.

      Thanks for the compliment Raj!
      As such I feel that any Tier 1 ERPs (SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Netsuite etc.) will have equally rewarding careers.
      SAP S/4 HANA and Oracle Cloud are the market leaders in Cloud Based ERP market globally. They both (plus others also) have their own strong markets. E.g. Oracle is strong in US, Middle East, UK; while SAP is strong in Europe, India etc.
      In terms of opportunities abroad vs. in India, again, all Tier 1 ERPs will have both kind of opportunities..
      So, it really will not matter much at the beginner level, as far as 'which ERP you get into as a consultant' is concerned. Anything where you get a good opportunity, go ahead with it! One thing however - choose a Cloud Based Tier 1 ERP to make your career in! That's what will ensure a good rewarding career! Hope that helps.
