It’s diatonic in G, yes…but it being used as an Aeolian mode in E minor is what makes it fun. Try the exercise friend, then you’ll see why it’s “so special”…maybe.
@@Flamenco4U I noticed that I'm not consistent with my right hand, some times I sweep from string to string (It actually gives you a greater speed), anyway I slowed down to make sure that the right hand pattern remain the same. I think that I should be able to play it both way (sweeping and alternate), what's your take on the it??

I think I know what you mean in the traditional sense, but notice that they do actually alternate (m i m i / m i m i).

It's a very simple diatonic exercise in G major, can be done in any scale.
