I'm painting 36 minis with one GW handle. No hassle to change the minis between layers. Blue tac works well but I have had minis fall off a few times, especially metal minis
It's a classic solution. I find my blu tac loses adhesion after a few uses, so I'm happy to have paid £25 for the GW handles & know that my mini won't fall off when my painting gets a little aggressive. I struggle to paint in big batches like you, so 5 handles is about my limit. Good vid mate

Horses for courses, I know, and it was very tongue in cheek, I used a GW painting handle for the first time over the weekend and liked it to be fair
