Been running the Walker II, 2 pill, Monkey Made MM9 with external PA set up in the truck for 2 years no complaints. I feel like I definitely got the bang for My buck, all those features and nothing but good sound reports. I believe I paid 140 and then President sent me a $20 check after I sent proof of purchase. Have a ton of radios and some big boys at that, haven't switched it out since the day I installed it. Would definitely recommend it.
Strange bedfellows: Lafayette was perhaps the first to use the three-pin power connector on the legendary HB-525 mobile radios in the mid-1960s. Somewhere in my junk box is a salvage chassis mounted SO-239 that was made by Honda.
Definitely a lot of radio and good power output after tune and alignment for the money . I’m pretty sure that’s the model that does 45’ish to 50 clean watts on a scope and peak bird meter . Very impressive
I need to hire a staff just to keep up with your videos. I am afraid while I am asleep , you will pop one out and I won't know it. I may have a case of FOMO.
Unknown to most, 390 has a basememt with 100's of Squerrels🦫🐿 working the cameras and drafting boards churning out data and sample video at gut wrenching lightning speeds!!!⚡ 😏👍
Great video 390!!!. That transciever is friggen tiny. What is mean by "FCC"??? I hear that term used quite alot now! There are alot of operators modifying their old Astatic D-104's and Turners for the electret microphone element. There is a guy in Texas "El Paso Tube Amps" who has a comprehensive video with O-Scope samples showing the differences between the old Crystal element vocal patterns and the F.E.T's. Personally I'd much rather keep the Original elements over the F.E.T. electret elements.🇺🇸✌

@@ericdee6802 Something like Elves, but they work for peanuts------ Please-- it is not that funny-- LOL
Does this have the scan skip function, or is that only with the Walker III?
I made a mistake in the first reply. The Walker 2 scans but does not have skip scan. The 3 does. Cheers

Nice Radio.......
that radio is about the same thing as the Stryker 955hp
Why do you say that ?
@@Fox250R well the Stryker 955hp and the president walk 2 have the menu button and both radios you can change the color on the display
@@Fox250R what I'm saying is both radios have same fetures on both radios
They’re nothing alike imo.
