@@ckmccurley3 Chris, what you are missing is that we are to be "in the world but not of the world". We are to take the opportunities to do good as we can. In the USA we as citizens have an opportunity to have a say in who will serve in positions of responsibility. If we are to love our neighbor how can we ignore our opportunity to help them as we can?

Just don't let a candidate, a party, or an agenda have your heart." Another major point that I believe you miss is that politics is not the best means by which we change the world. Jesus' agenda has already done more to change the world than politics could ever hope to achieve.
