That would be so cool to have an original Balabushka. This is just a replica, made by the Adam cue company. These were high quality cues though, but just Production cues. I think this cue may have retailed for around $800-$900, when it was new.
if u are lucky to find one there are so many balabushka old cues for sale out there. my father bought one for 300 euros 2 years ago, and one friends of him bought one for 150, not veyr good condition but still worth 400 500 but he doesnt want to sell it. good luck
It's not the cue that makes the player...I had a fancy predator and I sold it cuz it didn't work for me. I once asked a local pro what kinda cue he has and was shocked that it was some cheapo cue. It's whatever works best for you.
I sold it around the same time that I created this video, but you can find these from time to time on ebay. Just keep an eye out on ebay. They are great cues.

Looks just like my mid 80’s Joss.
I've got the best cue... it's a McDermott!!
I have this cue in a nickel joint Meucci with identical "mother of pearl" diamond inlays. // Mine looks so close to the one in the video.
Could have bought a new balabuska cue in the early 70s at jack and Jill’s for 150.00

Didn't know he signed his cues.
This is a replica / tribute cue (made by Adam / Helmstetter, on Japan), not an original. And yeah, Balabushka did not sign his cues.
Is this item for sale? Id like to have it

Pooldawg has them, tribute cues just like this one. I just bought one for $668. Just for the signature. But it’s a nice playing cue as well.
