I'm in france. Same thing happens. We changed our card to a webcard (disposable). We refuse to buy from amazon. You MUST send a notice of revocation to use and store your card details. Send notice to the H.O.

Coincidentally, a friend of mine came to me about a very similar situation. The customer service wasn't cordial at all in his case. He ultimately canceled his Prime subscription, removed his credit card info, and requested a new card from his bank. :/

Well, that was an ear full... I am gong to do some digging and see if they have been doing this to us. We actually buy a bit from Amazon and have several items on auto order from them. There are items we can't get anywhere else, so if I find out they are doing this to me also I'm not sure what we will end up doing. Thanks for the info!

Its pretty simple. It is a different account with the same charge card number. That is why your account does not receive notifications. In other words, your card number has been stolen and someone else has set up an account using your charge card.
They wouldn’t give me a refund if that was the case. Maybe Amazon stole it.
@@ChrisKempter I suspect that they will give a refund to anyone for any reason just to end the conversation and move on to the next caller.
Someone in your home is buying stuff without you knowing. or someone has access to your amazon account.
