I like this game quite a lot, I didn't play it when it realised originally but I did when ubisoft re-released it on that stupid launcher they have, Uplay I think? Eventually they made a marketing thing that a new account there would receive some free games, and beyond good & evil was one of them, besides some assasins creeds and such. So I took that oportunity to play this game. The best way I can think of how to describe beyond good and evil is: "it's a mix of majora's mask and phantom hourglass but worse", and I say that as a positive believe it or not.Instead of having a big open world with fuck all to do like most newer games, it did what majora's mask did, a smaller but denser world with a lot to do and no wasted space. The phantom hourglass comparison is because there are boat and "stealth" (by this I mean sections against stronger and sometimes indestructible enemies that you mostly have to avoid) in both but one does it much better than the other. The exploration is the better part of the game, the boat is ok too and the story's cool until you go to the moon. and yeah there are pacing problems and you can just smell the cut content, but I still like the finished result even if it is quite unpolished and feels incomplete, again ignoring anything that happens after you go to the moon. My thoughs after finishing it were something like "I can't wait to see the sequel, if they just focus on the good parts like the story and exploration of a small but dense world, it's gonna be one of the better games ever made". But well at this point if the sequel actually released i'm pretty sure it would be more of a clone of assassins creed and far cry, going hard on the chosen one storyline, with micro transations while having a dose of progressive propaganda and male hate for good measure. Safe to say I prefer this franchise stays dead as ubisoft sucks ass now and they can't make a good game to save their lives. And sry if the phrases here sound a bit strange, english is not my main language.
I think that's a really good comparison, and I agree with you. What we got is okay, but it could have been a lot better, and I wish they had cut most of the stealth instead of the exploration. If they had put out the sequel in a reasonable timeframe, I'm sure it would have become a series that gets held up next to Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter, but like you said. I have no faith at all in Ubisoft. Just like Bethesda, they aren't the same company anymore. Anyway, nothing to apologize for, you communicate clearly, which is more than I can say for many native english speakers. Thanks for watching.
I would absolutely disintegrate under the social pressure, but whether it's 5 or 500k, I appreciate you taking the time to check it out. Thanks for watching.
Thanks, I really appreciate that. Ha! Well, while I didn't hate it, it sure did let me down after so many years of buildup. If anything, it solidified that there's no way the second one will be anything worth waiting for.
I'd give it a solid "tried to do way too much and should have focused on being better at a few things/10". I think the setting and characters had a lot of potential, but the overall aliens sucking souls to find the chosen one thing was just... such a let down.
It should be absolutely ILLEGAL to have this level of quality content with this number of subs. I’m a forever subscriber
I tried talking to congress about it, but they were busy doing nothing. I'm glad you enjoy it though, thanks for watching.
Quite a few people still believe total sales equals quality. Apparently they've never played call of duty or gta online
Hard agree. Sports games probably sell gangbusters, but I haven't had fun in one of those since Blitz '06. At least there's always the indie scene.

Watched a few of your videos now, great stuff.
Heard good things about BG&E but this video has convinced me it's actually garbage..
Thanks, I really appreciate that.

Hot take: the game looked and played good but had garbage writing and plot.
