the fact that Panzerfüsiliere have their at-riflegrenade from early one gives them the advantage of countering these pesky early universal carrier and clown cars
@@thangtruongquang1891 hi yeah so the numbers are actually decimals that are rounded up, so it's probably something like 7.6+7.6 etc etc. 29 is the correct number
It's actually quite strange how the fusiliers with the g43 upgrade is better at short range compared to the volks with stg44. Realistically the stg44 would succeed at both short and medium range while the g43 would exceed at medium to long range. Another point is the dps on the move for the fusiliers, g43s are battle rifles which means there lengthy and heavy. Stg44 would be better at moving and chasseing down enemies, from there lightweight, versatility and automatic fire. It makes zero sense for the volks to not be better at chasing down enemies, so that should be switched between the 2 units while debuffing fusiliers dps at close range and buffing there medium/long range dps instead. Volks should have higher dps at medium/short range after upgrading to stg44.
See, I used common sense like this when I first went against G43 Pfusiliers and wondered why my conscripts were getting shredded. Imagine my surprise when I went to compstomp as OKW to test stuff and saw that the G43 package improves short-medium range dps
I'm 100% with you for this opinion but for a question of balance, it would be unfair to win some close range fight against special units from allies like Ranger, Assault Gards, Para-Gards and etc which have 3 Thompson upgrade versus a regular unit like Volks.
@@lssam257 As a person of realism balance doesn't really apply to my vocabulary, each nation has its own strengths and weaknesses it's strategy and skill that decide winning or losing. It's a known fact that Germany had the best small arms of ww2, that's the challenge aspect of the game (To beat Germany). @@MagpieMew Yeah that extra member isn't just a sponge, but brings his own k98. You're getting 3 gun upgrades + 1 additional gun, which is why it pushes the squads dps higher than volks. Agreed that the on the move accuracy is weird.

Great comparison. Fusie starts are very hard in the higher ranks. Tend to be very hit/miss for me. I like to mix them with 1 volk for the sandbags at the start. 1 volk into 2/3 fusies.
G43 Fusiliers scare me. They *really* don't need that extra man with a K98k on top of them. The extra dude would make more sense for the Shreck upgrade.
Great video, thank you very much!! Yeah usually I'd go 1 Volks into fusis, it changes your build a little bit since you'd potentially get one inf unit more, esp if you're going for the Sturm officer... And that bad boy combined with 3x g43 fusis, bye bye
Very nice comparison, just one thing you forgot is that the Panzerfüsiliere start with popcap of 7 same as volks but with the upgrade that comes with 6 men squad the popcap space they take increases to 8 witch is the same as jaeger light infantry and other more elite inf.
keep them in cover since they're only a 4 man squad and will lose via attrition to other units. Use them to cover the flanks of the mg 42 to suppress in the early game and once you get the mg 42 upgrade keep them stationary when possible so that they fire it more accurately and mow down all but elite units. Keep them at mid to long range since they're probably going to lose very badly at close range.
Stay in long range you can group them but never mora than two if you use German Infantry and give them a 5 man squad you can be more aggressive with them and avoid giving them G43
Chosing fuseleirs for the early snare is incredibly stupid since the Faust comes very quickly and you have 3 other simple counters to early cars. (Raketten, get the pios close, simply avoid it)
It´s not just about how early it is, but also about the insane range, which gives you a much better chance to land the AT grenade. Against noobs, it doesn´t really matter, but against good players, it makes a huge difference. It´s the same reason why people take the +7% Panzerfaust range bulletin as Ostheer.
@@jirkazalabak1514 I don't think it matters either way because fausts and snares are so fucking easy to get. Vehicle pathing is notoriously bad and that's part of the game.
@@DustyPazner That would be true against idiots who send their vehicles carelessly to their deaths. However, most good players are aware enough to almost always have infantry squads or machine guns near their vehicles for support, and also to sweep mines before an attack. They also know most of the problematic spots on any given map, and will specifically avoid them to stop pathing hickups. You would be surprised at how difficult it is to snare a vehicle against a decent player. You have to be somewhat smart in order to get your infantry close enough.

In general handheld AT is not recommended. It makes the squad basically useless against infantry and handheld at is not as effective as dedicated at. Also okw gets the rack which is just the best AT in my opinion because of it's survivability.
giving my opinion, Pzfussiliere are not that good unless you play the green cover game since they are weak early than Volks, are more expensive long term, and at the hour of fight, you prefer volks incediary granade since it's going to make you win the trade or clean a house or make a team weapon retreat or even wipe it. the thing about pzfussilier that made it a noobtrap is the fact is a 5 man squad with either 3g43(then 6 models) or shrecks. most go for the g43 upgrade but is 80ammo and g43 role is more of a flanker/wiper than frontline, making it useless alone and dependant of other units (smoke, a real frontline holder, etc) , however the shrecks upgrade is awesome for lategame because it counters so hard the allies dive strategy and is the best option since you are having either a tiger or a jagtiger with both commanders. I would say that is better to go 2 volks and 1 pzfussilier for the early AT and then once your volks dies. replace then with 2 obers and 2 pzfussilier with shrecks. if the enemy is not going early light vehicle i would even encourage for the traditional 3 volks early build.
