We’re not conscious of George’s talent, way above anyone in the music industry, perhaps one step below Freddy Mercury. But George was the composer, the lyricist, the singer he played all the instruments, he was the record engineering. The producer, the scrip wrote of his musical videos and the director. Not even Prince, Michael Jackson nor Madonna were even remotely to accomplish all these tasks for every song he made. The only song in his entire career he didn’t produce was Monkey, but just the many single because wanted to sound like Janet Jackson and hired the services of Jimmy Jam Harris and Terry Lewis, but the rest, until his debacle with Sony was 100% done exclusively by him. No other musician aside from Freddy Mercury was capable of so much…..nut the world turn their back on him because of his sexuality, punishing him severely and took him to his grave. And I can’t believe that after 34 years of this award, just now the Rock and Roll hall of fame is recognizing him…..a tad too late for such an amazing artist……
You must be on drugs to compare George Michael to the big three mega superstars(Michael Jackson, Prince & Madonna) of the 80s. Prince is multi-instrumentalist, who wrote, composed and produced his own music. George Michael could NEVER compare to Prince's brilliant musicality

What a charmer. I think it's great they included those bits of him speaking just to give people a peak inside what was an incredible, thoughtful mind. Not sure about the "diva" bit because he was not in the least a diva. I wonder if people knew that he wore those glasses all the time out of insecurities - he said he wore them all the time because he couldn't look at all those people in the eye - in crowds, while on stage, this sort of event. It made him uncomfortable to take in all the adulation. How sad that he didn't see everybody again soon as he couldn't handle it all.
