    Kimberly, I swear we must be related. You teach the same way my brain works. I'm learning so much about using the machine, and having such fun. Thanks for your time and teaching! PS - I also have songs for just about everything, lol

      Thanks Kim. I don't say it enough but one of the most amazing things about the ScanNCut is that it is stand alone. You can do amazing things without even going to Canvas Workspace. That is icing on the cake when you do.

    Love this video. Been little under weather with medical issues so I’ve not been in my craft room much. Watching this is certainly reminding me of how much I’m missing being in there. It’s funny, I use the painters tape, have re-glued my mat and have clear shipping tape on the back of my mat!! (Cut through numerous times!). Mat still works great. Thanks so much Kim, I’m sure you spent many many hours creating this video, just to benefit us all. Hugs and thx again. Stay safe my friend. ❤️🙏🏻

      It’s not hard at all - I love mine! Just keep an open mind when you have a problem or encounter something you don’t know how to do. . Everybody is here to help. I’d also encourage you to seek help soon after you encounter a problem. But you may not be like me - I’ll agonize for hours and sometime days before I ask for help! I’m also the kind of person that reads a book from cover to cover - that includes All the pages, copyright date page, forward, acknowledgement. So - I’ve don’t the same thing with the brother-USA dot con page for my SNC. There’s a lot of information there: a Faq page, troubleshooting, meanings of error messages, lots more. But I‘m retired, no husband or kids, no family, have a dog for companionship. always say I don’t have a life, so I have plenty of time! Lol. But I do lots of crafting!

    I use a fake brayer form the dollar tree to stick the paper down it works great

    • @phareux5135
      @phareux5135 2 роки тому +2

      I meant a face brayer from the makeup section of dollar tree

    • @PaperedChef
      @PaperedChef  2 роки тому +1

      LOL Missie. I really thought you meant fake because Stampin' Up! used to sell one and Brother sells one now. I have it actually and forget to use it for this. I use it for inking my stamps. We often use the term fake when we refer to off brand items. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a face brayer. Thanks for the tip. One can never have too many brayers when crafting.

    I have to make sure both the top corners are stuck down very well. Sometimes I spray a bit of Pixie Spray on the back of the corners to give a bit more stick. Then I don't get those wonky messed up corners.
