🔥😲Jazzy, Crystal listen you’ve got to put an overhead fire sprinkler system, on your houseboat..! If a wildfire came through, the four of you can escape to the middle of the lake.. You’re spraying, overhead, endless water supply, fire safety sprinkler system, will keep you safe. All you need is a water pump and some piping on the roof ( with holes in it ). You two can rig something up including solar power for the pump.. I’m sure Charlie, Eddy, Todd and Tyler would also benefit from the same setup..for safety of course..😊
Just want to comment on the high quality of the videos you produce. I don't know who is putting them together, but they deserve a lot of credit. I love the little snippets of flora and fauna that are cut in throughout. Each video is like taking a little holiday in your wilderness paradise. Thanks for sharing your lives.
Watching you all every Sunday makes me feel so much joy, peace and hope for the future. I am 69 and my first home was a school bus that my then boyfriend bought with an all ready raised roof, I dreamt the lay out woke him up and told him the design and over the next couple of months we built it together, as I stayed home with his twin 4 year olds, played wife and babysitter lived in it for 6 years as we moved and traveled. We married after 6 years. Then moved to Seattle for good schools, more green spaces. And now the twins are 54 years old. So that was 50 years ago. Without internet, UA-cam or cell phones. Been widowed since 1996. Since then I have fallen in love with 2 women. Now live a minimalist lifestyle traveling to Mexico where I have a permanent residence. I have another permanent residence in Panama and I am looking for a place to park a tiny house sit a Casita on some else’s land. I own nothing, but my freedom. A carry-on and a back pack. Looking forward to seeing what you do in Mexico this summer. Right now I am in the USA caring for a friend. I may go to Uruguay for the winter and enjoy the summer beaches. If I do I will stop in Mexico, then Panama. To see if I can get a 3rd permeant residence. But I have to go before I turn 70 in December. Which is the cut off age for very inexpensive health insurance. 6 years in Mexico I never need insurance because it not that expensive to pay out of pocket. I like living in the unknown. And the present. Life is such an adventure. 🕊️❤😎

Just as an FYI take a look at adjustable Pylex post holders for future builds. Each one holds like 2400lbs and is adjustable in the same way those screw piles are and will save you a "pile". They can fit right into a concrete foot, or you can bolt em to a concrete peir if you want to get fancy. lol (Obviously not for major builds, but excellent for decks or smaller structures).

Great job!!! I built a few of those log kit bunkies/sheds, they do shrink in the first couple of years. Allow for the movement with any wiring, plumbing, shelving.

@matthewcard I thought the same thing. I know in cold climates it is a common practice since it ensures a person who is inside can always physically open the door during winter compared to an outward swinging door which might be blocked by a pile of snow. With these 4 season girls, I wouldn't be surprised if they already accounted for possible snow piles and might already have plans to protect the door by adding on an awning or extending the roof over the deck... guess we'll have to wait to find out in their next/build part 2 video! :D

Love this! I have two similar 30M square cabins on my property using the same construction technique - top job! One thing to check - the two windows installed with the black hinges internally facing I think should be the other way around with the black furniture on the outside, so they swing outwards not inwards :) ... like the door drama :p Amazing space and can't wait to see it complete - surely a penthouse suite for Bella and Izzy?

Love this! I have two similar 30M square cabins on my property using the same construction technique - top job! One thing to check - the two windows installed with the black hinges internally facing I think should be the other way around with the black furniture on the outside, so they swing outwards not inwards :) ... like the door drama :p
