God, the second last scene of this episode is so damn depressing. Idk if I've gotten jaded to 40k's representation of the world but this one episode feels so much more real-human even- than any other Warhammer+ content I've watched.
I've always been a 40k fan but after playing Vermintide 2 and watching all your breakdowns I can say I am a AOS Fan too Like I've always been a Elder Scrolls fan even before I was a 40k fan so I always liked Medieval Fantasy

Almost every show these days has the same bad taste, as if the screen writers all try to outmatch Proust, and all fail miserably. Many don't even have the slightest hint of flashbacks, like a green screen or such. It is the disorder in the mind of the writer that gets to the screen instead.

I've never been a huge fan of WH:Fantasy. But I have to admit I'm intrigued by the mystery of this particular character. I always thought of the Stormcast as just generic wannabe space marines. But there's some depth here that has value, I think. Looking forward to more.
@@andrew3203depends on the stormhost. The Knights Excelsior are like the Black Templar. Hammers of Sigmar are heroic and Hallowed Knights are pious. Both stormhosts are actually lawful good.
I feel that this episode is alright at least its not a slideshow but i felt like that they could've done a better job on smoothing out the animation and a bit more grimdark i would say but i think it already shown a bit more grimdark then it needs to be but its alright maybe it would get better until later on i hope but as it stands its okay.

All 5 of the chaos gods (including the great horned rat) are major threats in AoS, although Slanesh has literally been tied up for a while... However, due to the differences between the realms, some of them are more interesting to certain gods. e.g. the realm of life (Ghyran I believe) is the main target for nurgle, although all the other chaos gods also have a presence there
What stops the remaining nurgle warband to find a new leader among themself and continue the rampage? Also how does the mercenary elf get to and from battlefield? Is she mortal unlike the stormcasts?
She has water magic that lets her teleport. Also the forces of order. This was just a spec ops mission but there’s plenty of other forces of order to take them out.

Nope, these stormcast were forged from their past lives within the Mortal Realms. There is a stormhost (Anvils of the Heldenhammer) that were forged from the souls of long dead humans. A Lord Arcanum (Balthas Arum) was Balthsar Gelt.

It's not, Stormcast souls have been worn down from reforging to the point they become Lightning Gheists, or their souls don't make it back to Azyr at all, either a powerful weapon or some sort of enchantment or curse prevents the soul from returning. Sigmar has been having the officers of the Sacrosanct Chamber looking for ways to perfect the reforging process

That means you're always prepared for battle. And as far as I know they don't really need to eat or sleep since they're immortal. They just really go through the motions of being human to unwind stress and enjoy the pleasures of life like music and the taste of food.

This animation had higher quality than hammer and bolter but it looks like a foreign animation
