@Swarm509 Yep. UA-cam algorithm doesn't care what people post, just that they do post. I purposely put mistakes in some videos for that reason. It's also the same reason I keep making fun of Zircon Sand. Every video I made fun of it in has 10K+ views.
I’ve owned an ‘01 SE for years. The last BRG over tan leather with a tan top. I’ll be first in line if they build it again. Let’s compare sales numbers all time vs the competition … Miata wins Another great video 👍
That looks like the same font that's on the Iconic. I dunno about the new symbol. If there's a BRG 35th anniversary, it'll sell well, but not sure how it would look on the ND. The NA and NB had an old school design to them and the ND is a very modern look.
Would have to check in detail with the numbers I found earlier this, but the dropping number of units sold is not really different from what happened when the NC3 was released. That never reached the volumes of the early years. To me it looks like a natural curve, and subjectively I would say the ND has higher volumes than the last NC model years. It isn't helped by the price hike though caused by the situation in the world and the CO2 taxation/fines Mazda incurs... In Europe it will be impossible to get 2.0 ND3 because of this, and it also is legally required to have all the nanny features with all the beeps and dings that go with them... All that will not help sales neither
So...tan Recaro seats?????? That seems unlikely, doesn't it. Rather than the light tan Mazda uses, I'd rather see the brown saddle leather they had back in the NC days.
Well, since Recaro is filing bankruptcy, who knows if we will get that.. Personally, I prefer lighter colored interior, simply because you can park your car in the sun with the top down and get back in it without searing your skin to the leather.
Motor One dogs the Miata because they know Mazda fanboys will get triggered and go on and on about how irrelevant it is and drop the name Motor One like 400 times in a video, which is free publicity. It's better to be a bad guy than to be invisible. You're giving them free publicity.
@@MiataChannel the color on the thumbnail would be perfect. Kinda aligns with the red color they already use. I've been thinking of wrapping mine that color.
Has Hiroshima been lying all this time? Is the 2024 ND3 the final end of all Miata production? Are they secretly taking a cue from the Stellantis bloodbath?
@alexandergraham6912 Everything I have heard says 2026 or later. Hiroshima hasn't said anything about that... It's all those lame websites with fake renders that are saying that.
Its very disconcerting about Recaro/BBS....hopefully not a "where there is smoke, there is fire" scenario. And the "new" logo? Are you kidding me? Who got paid for THAT? (I personally love the old late 60's/early 70's lower case "m" design I saw on a classic and restored Cosmo they had in my local dealership)...love your site and love that you called the Zircon Sand color baby poop....the color selection is pathetic...more indication that all is not well in Miataland?
Perhaps fixing their problematic manual transmission would sell more cars? My 2023 Miata transmission has bad 3rd gear synchros in just 3200 miles. I had a 1999 for 19 years, no transmission problems.
@romano54321 my 2011 has the strongest Miata transmission ever built. They used it for the Fiata also.. my 2016 had the transmission replaced in the first year on the road
@@MiataChannel that is what I’ve heard. People are installing the nc transmission into the nd with an adapter plate but installing the rear differential is mandatory with the transmission. Mazda could have adapted the nc transmission years ago and fixed the issue. They just don’t want to.
8000 left, not 18000. But still, good point!
@vanceman100 Yeah, I unfortunately can't change it now. The plus side is it gets people to comment on the video.

Great video! Love the no fluff and straight to the point style and you are a very likeable guy! Just got my NC and couldn’t be happier :) Subbed!
The Recaro seats in the MX-5 are, I think, just licensed use of the brand name for seats that are made in Japan.
Do you think the new logo will be on the 2025 mx5s?
Hard to say.. we won't really know until Dec tine frame, likely

i agree that BRG wouldn't look good on the ND. A metallic pine or forest green, however, would look fantastic, esp with the current tan interior!
@@oldatarigamer I don't really mind what they choose as long as it's a departure from the current choices.
Nice one. Would the 35th AE be soft top only or will there be an RF model too?
I would expect both, just like the 30AE
@MiataChannel Thanks. In UK there was only soft top for the 30th AE.
I unfortunately can't really say what will happen with it in the UK. I don't really have an information source for that market.
