I love both. For me a spook is for covering open water, a shower blows is for hitting targets cuz it walks in place without coming forward as fast.
And u gotta love the Zara Spook for calm mornings and nights. Theres not alot of silent walking baits but sometimes its the ticket.

I like a 7’ MH moderate rod
Ain't no way the Shower Blows comes in more colors than the Spook! If you consider all the different sizes and models of Spooks, it has WAY more colors than the Shower Blows.

The hidden spook is definitely more buoyant in the water sits higher on the surface of the water with a large movement to the right and left . Which I think causes mis fish.. I like the Ima big stick little stick and baby stick over the shower blows . The I'm a big stick definitely throws much more water in front of the bait then the shower blows . But there are a few other baits on the market that will give you different sounds of knocking on Surface which I think is also important.

I like a 7’ mh moderate rod, 8:1 gear ratio reel

I’ve got so many Spooks, I can’t count them all,from the one knocker to super spooks with a feather treble on the back and a upsized Red Treble up front, and at least a half dozen colors, and I have maybe 8 showers blows because of sizes and colors. I have way to many other manufacturers “spook style” baits, but I’m still having a difficult time with the ones that sit tail down in the water, like a 6th sense Catwalker I’ve had success with the LuckyCraft Gunfish 95 and 115…. Does it make a difference to you, if it sits tail down?

The SB is a great substitute for a popper in the summer. Nice for bring up bass hanging around stumps or hard cover.
Would like to see what you like for prop baits. About the only one I use on the regular is a Duo Realis spinbait but am I missing out on some others?
