I was told by many experts bike needs at least 5.8 Qts
Great how to vids. Like where the filter is placed. Don't know about that starter wire being down in the elements though. Looks like possible trouble down the road.
Yuuuuuuuuuuuuup. Definitely could get stuck between the oil filter and the mating surface when you change the oil.
Good information.
What’s up with the cheap 6 mm Allen plug that strips out?
Has yours stripped
When I follow the directions exactly as the video shows (which is also exactly how the manual states to change the oil), 5 quarts isn’t enough oil. 5 quarts barely gets the oil to the “add” line on the dipstick when fully inserted. To get the oil closer to the full line (which is where I prefer to have it), the engine takes almost 6 quarts. Has anyone else noticed this??
John, good to know. I bought the maintenance package which will include 6 oil changes. After this point I will do my own. So, have you heard anything about adding more oil?
FACE Lopez , I haven’t heard anything about it. As far as Im concerned, the bike takes 5.5 quarts. 5.5 quarts at least gets the oil farther up in the safe zone of the dipstick. I have 1000 miles since the first oil change and haven’t had any issues.
I noticed it also, 5 quartz makes it close to the minimum level on my bike.
5 quarts is perfect
You guys ABSOLUTELY dont know what you are doing!
And to triple confirm, you guys started the bike in an upright position after adding the 4l, correct?
Nice video, although I don't agree with torque specs, seems too tight too me.
Take Notice Harley LOL
It took 6 1/4 Litres to bring it up to maximum you’ll need to put 4 L in and start it up and then do the same thing a couple more times to get it right
I would have filled the oil filter full of fresh oil, then screw it in place.
Yeah that's what I do as well, which is why it's nice they made that inverted filter.
Who cares about her sexual orientation? What BS Indian. You need to change your ad agency and marketing department.
Ummm sir, what video did you just watch??? 😂😂😂😂😂
