    So let me get this straight the San Francisco 49ers are paying Brock less than a million dollars and the Green Bay Packers are paying a first round pick less than 5 million but the problem is Mike McCarthy not the quarterback that's getting paid $50 million that chokes every time they're in the playoffs.

    Cowboys looked totally unprepared for this game. Offense, defense and special teams dominated by a team that was stronger physically and mentally. We came out flat on offense and defense then Adjustments made too little too late. THATS coaching and leadership failures. its on everyone envolved from McCarthy being conservative, Dak being inconsistent and afraid to demand more from his teammates, and Jerry’s pathetic need to circle jerk the Cowboys in the media for clicks. None of them are building a culture that can withstand adversity.

    I'm a big believer in Jordan Love and the Packers are my team and I am very glad we have him now. But nobody is bringing up the counterpoint to drafting Love, and a lot of people will be asking "why doesn't my team do that?" The counterpoint is we used a first round pick on a player that would not contribute to winning during what would end up being a two year Super Bowl window. Would Tee Higgins or Michael Pittman lining up with Davante Adams have pushed them over the edge? Maybe, the margins are razor thin (usually) in the playoffs and one of those losses was a 13-10 loss to the 49ers (or 16-10, something like this) and doubling Davante would shut our offense down in the playoffs. Glad we have him now but it's not like a price wasn't paid.

      Good lord, get over the hypotheticals. It's over, we didn't, we're here.
      Every single team can what-if the draft. If you think a rookie WR would've made a difference in those games, that's your prerogative. We know Rodgers didn't connect with or trust young players. If we didn't take Love, where are we this season when Rodgers is hurt or gone. I'll take this, all day every day.

    • @bonesawisready684
      @bonesawisready684 7 місяців тому +3

      I don't know why so many people are convinced the Packers were another WR away from winning a SB when WR was objectively not the reason they lost in the playoffs. That's even if we just completely ignore the fact that through Rodgers entire career he really never trusted young WRs. Hell, on their final play against SF he had Cobb, literally his best friend and guy he played with for like 10 years, wide open for a 1st down and willfully ignored him to force the ball to Adams.
      OL was a much bigger issue in their loses, and Bakhtiari suffering a freak injury in practice very likely is the difference between no SBs and being back to back champs.

    • @ookaspear
      @ookaspear 7 місяців тому

      the problem with this is that it opens the conversation for love hypothetically starting elsewhere, which is just too abstract. Love could have ended greenbay's superbowl for any given year in that window. Too many possibilities to really quantify this "trade off".

    those years watching Aaron scream at his WRs when they didn't run the route quick enough or bail him out w a sideline catch, showed Jordan how not to act when you fail. And the reason you don't mention qbs who are drafted by a team that don't play for them is because if those said qbs actually played for that team the atmosphere is different and it's not a guarantee they would succeed in that teams offense. Mark brunell and Kurt Warner did well on their teams. If they had played for the packers they might have sacked or folded. It's apples to oranges. Different team chemistry, different offensive lines etc etc. Alot of qbs go to the right situation and some qbs aren't able to succeed because they went to a horrible organization and poor offensive line and poorly run organization. If Brady had gone to another team when he was drafted are we sure he wins 6 superbowls with them??? Prolly not and I'm a Brady fan. So you listing qbs for a packers organization that didn't actually play for them is idiotic at best.

    NE has no talent you say? Who drafted those players? NE got worse every year after Brady. Belichick is washed up.

    Garrett played and coached under Jones. McCourty played under Kraft. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!😂😂😂
