I really hate to do it, but I have to agree with Nick. Lamar is better than Mahomes? Only a rabid Ravens fan could possibly believe that, and I'm not even a Mahomes fan.
He had a better regular season last year
Mahomes didn't have a very good regular season. I will give the haters that. But in the playoffs? Without dominating stats he seemed to manipulate the flow of the game so the Chiefs would win in the end. Mahomes is the guy playing chess vs. a bunch of teams playing checkers. Along with a pretty big psychological advantage.

Don't you think it's weird Tyreek Hill, Lamar Jackson, and CMC are ranked higher than him? These are three players that he beat in the playoffs including the SuperBowl.

Mahomes being 4th is ridiculous because he was at the time, the reigning MVP, SB MVP and SB champ. And while he was having a rocky regular season, there's no reason to think there were 3 players better than him in the NFL especially given the history of what Mahomes has done the last handful of years.

Mahomes is the best player in the NFL and it's not close. 32/32 GMs are picking him #1 to start their franchise. This is a really stupid discussion at this point...and I'm a Raider fan. Lamar is barely a top 5 QB let alone the 2nd best player in the NFL.
I agree about the Mahomes part, but definitely disagree when it comes to Lamar. He is a two time MVP, and is very dynamic. He will always be there to give his team a chance to win. That makes him easily top 5 if not top 3 in the league
He's better than most, but I'd take Mahomes, Burrow, Allen over him easily. You might also go with Rodgers, Stroud and Prescott over him. He may not be dynamic, but Purdy with similar weapons outperforms Jackson in the playoffs.

He's talking about having a winning competent QB that gives you a chance a potential chance to win in the playoffs. Dak has never had a losing season in his career. This franchise as a whole hasn't had success in playoffs for 30 years now.

Define harbaughs chargers being, "great really fast". The chargers will definitely get better with harbaugh, but they have a huge roster rebuilding process right now, have very little star power, no depth or solidity to their roster. due to the last team they tried to build and had to abandon, they have almost 20 percent of their cap going to players that got traded or left! They have a big roster problem, not to mention Herbert's foot will effect him all season (wether he plays thru pain and is hindered or aggravates it and cant play entirely, who knows) the chargers need players before harbaugh gets judged for not leading them to the playoffs in year 1

Creating a top 100 when you when the voters only have to pick 20 is asinine. Over half the players in the final 100 probably didn’t appear on any ballots. Who ranked them?
voted by a points system. They ask you to list you top 20 players and you get more points the higher you are on the ballot. Not everyone is gonna list the same 20 players so guys who aren't on one ballot will be on another and so forth. They tally up the points in a 1-100 list and that's the top 100.

Ranking lists always depend upon your criteria. It’s hard to say three players are better than Mahomes when we all know those three teams wouldn’t hesitate to trade their guys for Mahomes if Bret Veach made that offer.
