I’ve been begging you for three years to see this custom “Masterpiece” created mostly in-house with some help from one of Bill Tracey’s old company guys. Knobels Ahem’ “borrowed” heavily from this ride in many, many ways. And just 5he loving care the third generation of park owners take with this ride is outstanding! I rode it 35 years ago, and it is STILL THE BEST Darkride in the country!
Yes! My home state and Rehoboth Beach my all time favorite beach! It's been 4 years since I was there. Oh how I miss it. The malt vinegar is for the boardwalk fries. Very tasty. Fav restaurants are Grottos Pizza, Go Fish & Thrashers! Great video!
Spent many summer vacations there. One time I took a raft over the waves and laid back relaxing in the rocking sea. I dozed off and was awoken by the distant sound of a life guard's whistle. I had drifted way the hell off shore and couldn't swim. I slowly rode the waves back in as I paddled by hand. Scary. My knees were knocking when I hit the beach. I was so far out the people were specks.
Oh Jacob, you are so adorable. When you put the malt vinegar on your clams, I laughed till I had tears in my eyes. In the Delmarva territory we use the malt vinegar on our boardwalk fries. I’m not criticizing you, just wanted to tell you that you made my day. Great video as always.
Jacob's new experiences with regional cuisines are just one more reason his vlogs are so entertaining and educational. Someday when he retires from traveling, there are a plethora of books begging for him to write them: a nationwide gastronomic miscellaney, a listing of the funniest and wisest "Jacob-isms," an account of mistakes and foibles, and I'm sure a long list of other ideas will arise. I'd buy them! What do you think, everybody?
Jacob absolutely love your videos! I can safely say "The Claw Master" you are not! LOL! I found it interesting that you had all the jump scares memorized the second time thru the Haunted House. Thanks for keeping all of us entertained! Safe travels!
thanks for coming to the boardwalk jacob! i live in delaware and frequent the boardwalk often, so it's so cool to see you there 😆💗 please come back sometime!!
I lived in Rehoboth for approx 15 Summers as my family had a house just off the boardwalk most of my life. Started going there when I was 5 and have known the family who owns Funland since I was a little kid. They watched me grow up hanging out in there.
We went to Rehoboth Beach every summer when we were kids. I still remember all the fun at Funland. The rides have not changed much in the past 45 years. My favorite was always the little boats that go around the mermaid. If you are ever in the area again it might be fun to check out the Sea Witch festival at the end of October. Thanks for this video that brought back many happy memories
I have noticed that some claw machines if you HOLD the claw button while it is grabbing it sometimes, keeps it closed! But not all do that!! But it is worth a try!! Love your vids! And thank you for sharing your adventures!!
Love this video, I was there last week. I have been coming here every summer for my whole life (57 now). Gus and Gus is locally famous for their food, especially cheesesteak and burgers. The fries are made from potatoes they put right in a slicer. The vinegar is for the fries, a long standing tradition. A few doors down is Thrasher’s fries, very locally famous and lots of bottles of vinegar there. I have not been on the haunted house ride in years, that was a blast from the past. I see that they have changed some of the ride to be scarier, that’s fun.
Can I ask about that area ??? I'm taking a job in that area of Delaware soon, from Mass. I'm a gay guy, not that it matters haha, oh and love Halloween season !
😊 The vinegar is for the french fries! That’s how we eat them. Obviously you could put anything on the french fries you want but it’s just something we do! Cute video. I know it all like the back of my hand! I hope that you had lots of fun.
I was on there on that day!! Im from Rehoboth Beach DE!! Born & raised :) My niece and her family were here visiting from WV so we were down there spending money lol
East Jacob my friend, I once told you before the machine will go either 10/15/20 times on a weak grab but on the 10th after you’ve paid the retail price for the item the claw will go back to full strength mode, if you really want to win a price keep a watch on how many people have put money in and lost if you time it right you will be the winner and the machine will have gotten paid in full while it only cost you $1, Keep up the amazing content my days are always better after seeing good videos from you ,,, Thanks again my friend
Your meal looked lovely and now I'm hungry! 😅 Seeing the beach and ocean is making me feel like getting away on a beach holiday ✈️☀️🌊 Thanks Jacob and best wishes ❤️
yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Haunted Mansion is always great and unique. Next time try the vinegar on your fries. They do that at a famous restaurant in Wildwood Nj Called Curley's Fries. Maybe you will also run into their mascot. If you go back to Wildwood NJ don't forget to go to the spooky boat it opens at night I think.
Hi Carpet Bagger. The “Wack and Win “ game, is a game of skill, not strength. You must hit the sensor box directly into the center of the bullseye in order to win. There is a sensor box inside of the fuzzy mallet that must connect to the very center of the game in order for you to win.
I used to know a guy who serviced the claw machines and he was an expert at positioning the stuffed animals in a way that locked them together. There was a couple I knew whose hobby it was to work the animals loose until they loosened the lock and would end up with half the animals exposed enough to grab. I don't want to know how much money they spent...
If you ever come to Blighty you'll see in our Chippy's (Fish and chip shop) salt and malt is a staple for your chips especially, you give the chips vinegar to the point they are almost swimming and then cover them with salt, in a Butty it blends perfectly with the taste of the butter on the bread too.
I always look forward to viewing your videos you make my day even if I've had a s***** one you always manage to bring a laugh to my face keep up the great work Jacob.
I rode a traveling inverted ghost train in France (Nancy to be specific), it was the most adrenaline inducing thing I'd done in awhile (even compared to the other rides at the fair, or Foire being French)

As many times as I’ve been on that ride, I never noticed the devil is holding a key (I believe) and his hand turns to offer it to you. Always just thought his eyes changed to red.
Can you imagine seeing a real human corpse in one of those rides? This happened in the '70s at the "Laff in the Dark" fun house at the Pike in Long Beach, the pike is no longer there. Just look up Elmer McCurdy. Creepy. It was actually discovered when the Six Million Dollar Man was being filmed there.

The Haunted Mansion carts are modified Venture Manufacturing Cobra Ride cars. The park spent one long winter customizing the cars to work with the overhead tracks properly.
enjoyed the video as always ! That was very sweet you trying to win jen something from the claw machine. I remember when my husband & I was dating he use to do that as well ! Very interesting about the hermit crabs, I currently have two of them as pets ! Have a great week , keep up the amazing work that you do on your channel, love an enjoy them all.
@@KimDill41 Makes sense. When I had them, I thought they'd like to climb.
