I used to dread doing fluted chairs, especially if it was a custom one off, needing me to make a pattern. USA to UK, Burlap = Hessian , Channel = Flute and Welt Seam = Piping. Looks great.
Hello, This is wonderful, thank you. :) I am a bit confused...you added seam allowance to the front channel pieces, but not to the backing, but when you sew, you line up the top pieces with the line then sew with a 1/2 inch seam allowance..that would make the back muslin way too narrow, no? You sew the channel pieces to it with a seam allowance..is this not taking away from the sew line? Thank you for your time!
