Would love to see you do your TX200HC trigger strip down and tune Garry. I've recently bought one having watched all you videos and must admit, thougherly enjoying it. I must admit it's a lovely rifle and my first springer amongst several PCPs I own. 👍
Hi Gary, another great video, thanks. Would love to see a trigger strip and polish as I think mine is in need of one. Also, one on cleaning the TX barrel would be very much appreciated.
Hi Gary. I am a brand-new shooter to HFT. I have a TX 200 in .177, so I am looking forward to picking up some valuable tips, from your wealth of experience. Thank you.😊
Perfect timing. Quite spooky in fact. 😮 I’ve literally just been using your TX200 strip down vid to remind myself of everything to do and have just serviced my HC. AND I’ve just got some Barracuda 8’s to test tomorrow on range day. The TX is a gun I will never part with. Great video, Chilly. 👏👏👏
I only found your videos a week or two ago, and already they have been enormously helpful. The one on artillery holds made my groups instantly tighter. Thanks!
Great video Gary. I shot at Throckmorton last weekend too with my TX200. We shot in the afternoon and got caught in the rain but loved the course which was tough but one of the best I've shot on! I got a 41 and had my best run ever of 6 "2"'s. I decided after stripping and relubing because of the weather, to retire the TX200 other than for a recoiling competition! I've loved the journey but for now will focus on HFT competition with my HW100K.
Gary, word of advice on the mosquitos, don’t wash your hair ( head) with scented soap/shampoo, also don’t use aftershave the smell attracts these little buggers. Speaking from experience. Cheers, enjoy your videos immensely.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I shoot a new model FWB Sport using H&N Baracuda 10.65, 4.52 pellets at 50 metres. I found that I achieve much tighter groups with the heavier pellet.
Hi gary..great video...i also shot my tx at throckmorton national last weekend,,got a42..... A video on the trigger tune would be great... Keek up the great vids
Hi Gary , great show as always, you kept saying about cleaning the barrel, iv never even thought about cleaning my barrel ,could you do a section on how to and what to use to clean air rifles ,thanks Jim
Hi Gary, I posted this information on shooting the breeze but thought I'd share. I shot at Throckmorton with weighed JSB 8.44 pellets I found that some were tighter in the TX200 lead/breech than others. I found that the looser pellets were more accurate and carried to the target where the tighter pellets meant that I had to make a slight compensation to my aim point as they seemed to drop in distance. Have you or anyone ever come across this phenomenon before?
Yes, a full strip of the TX200 trigger would be of interest. I'm not yet skilled enough to attempt the trigger, but I have been into my TX200 for a cleaning/lube an seal replacement. By the by, I enjoy your sense of humor. Perhaps this comes from my being a retired bus driver, you know, birds of a feather. Orv
Hi Gary, not knocking you, as you know a lot more about shooting air rifles than I ever will, but I was always taught that shooting prone body and legs should be in line with your point of aim. Is this purely for recoiling rifles, i.e. rimfire and centre fire? Thanks for all your tips 👍💥
It would also be helpful if you could touch on why (or if) it's important to clean the barrel between different pellets. I got 3 new types I wanted to test and I shot 20 of each back to back. Is that bad?
Gary have a question, I normally shoot Hunter class in AAFTA which is up to 20 ft lbs and off a bucket with stixs. 10 yards 3/8 hole to 55 yards 1 1/2 inch. I got a HW97 from a dear friend before he died. Springer is not a very popular class, pulled it out to give it a go. I am watching you as you are knowledgeable and share. Would it be possible for you to try shooting off a bucket and stixs for advice? You have good results letting the rifle recoil, for me it seems to give better results with a firm seat against the shoulder. What am I doing wrong?
One last thing what power does, you tx do mine rins at 10.45 ft lbs with 8.64 gn pellets its fine out to 35yrds but 45/50 terrible i know most of that is me but am interested in your power
i love my springers/i have a hw77/i bought bran new in (1990).and it still shoots like bran new..would never part with it../also have a hw97/which is same gun ..but not made with open sites..but the hw77 /is my beast/..and can hit bottle caps with it at 100 yards...
I try to shot with pellets barracuda mach of the 0,69 grammi, but is un disaster. Esact heavy of the 0,67 grammi are very perfect and precise pellets. I have Air arms tx200 MK3 full of the 18 joules
Also highly amusing to see you forget to unset the safety, which I'm pretty sure happened at least a couple of times at Throckmorton. I know when I shoot springers, I have exactly the same issue, but only shoot them once every 14th blue moon, when there's an R in the month. Quite reassuring to see you, a 'professional' boinger, do it as often as I do. I must stop getting so annoyed with myself when I do the same.
I enjoy your videos Gary and I really do learn a lot from you and take your advise. If I were you I would spray off all over yourself being out with them dam mosquitos because I get bit to hell if I don't spray off on myself.
Hi Gary another great video love all the advice but just wondering do you know if anyone uses a bull pup air rifle for hot or ft as I am buying a daystate pulsar from a friend I used to shot donkeys years ago a hw77 loved it then started going clay pigeon shooting for about 10years haven’t had a gun for years but been watching you on UA-cam for a year or so and am interested in hft keep to great videos going 👍Ian
Hi Ian, the main issue with a bullpup is the depth of the pistol grip on things like the pulsar and galahad. When you rest the butt on the deck, the pistol grip touches the floor and that's not allowed. So you will have to shoot it from the shoulder.
Thanks Gary what if you put an aftermarket adjustable butt pad on I know you can get a picatinny rail hamster to fit or would I be better getting a air arms hft 500 ? Thanks for the reply I have found a club not far emailed just waiting for reply 👍Ian
11 mins in to the video. Uncertain if it's down to camera position and angle and/or the wonky peg, but it does look to me as though you may be canting the rifle slightly to the right.
Yes Gary, would like to see the TX trigger work along with wringing out the Barracuda 8’s.
Enjoyed the show.
Would love to see you do your TX200HC trigger strip down and tune Garry. I've recently bought one having watched all you videos and must admit, thougherly enjoying it. I must admit it's a lovely rifle and my first springer amongst several PCPs I own. 👍

Wow! That IS spooky!
Great video, thanks Gary and yes please a strip down and tune up of the TX200HC trigger would be great.

going to watch any video you make Gary thank you
Great video Gary and some lovely shooting. A full review of the Barracuda 8s would be fantastic.
Hi Gary, I would like to see a detailed video on trigger tuning and also more on the 8's.
Thoroughly enjoyed the video, thanks for taking the time to put it together.
Gary, word of advice on the mosquitos, don’t wash your hair ( head) with scented soap/shampoo, also don’t use aftershave the smell attracts these little buggers. Speaking from experience. Cheers, enjoy your videos immensely.
I burn a citronella incense stick, this keeps them away very nicely
Perfect just bought a tx200 hc and the trigger needs adjustment but not exactly sure how so a video would be amazing!!!!!
Great video. Would love to see a video on the TX200 trigger.
Hi Gary I would love a video on striping a tx 200 trigger love your videos so down to earth but still informative please don't change mate.
another great video. Thanks for sharing Gary

Hi Gary, I'd love to see you do a TX trigger strip, just don't do it in the conservatory ;)
Yes please for a full trigger strip 👍

More testing with H&N Baracuda 8’s please. This time clean barrel. Out to 55yds..?
The CD trigger strip and set up would be good also.
Cheers.
Yes please on the trigger and while you are at it, do a safety catch delete : )
.and yes please a trigger strip would be a great video 👍
Comment No.2 😄
🙋🏻♂️
I meant to add, yes please. A video of a CD Trigger tune would be brilliant.
Yes please to the TX trigger work video.
Hi ya Gary My Rm8 loves 8.44 please test the H&N 's 👍🏻👍🏻
It would also be helpful if you could touch on why (or if) it's important to clean the barrel between different pellets. I got 3 new types I wanted to test and I shot 20 of each back to back. Is that bad?
Gary I would be interested in a review on the Baracuda 8's.
Yes Gary, TX Trigger tune please

If someone wanted to use it in an Olympic style target competition, could the scope be swapped out for a diopter and globe sight set up ?
I have seen the strip and polish of a TX trigger. Motörhead showed it to me…
Need a video on those h&n 8's pls
Would love to see a strip and tune of the trigger thanks
One last thing what power does, you tx do mine rins at 10.45 ft lbs with 8.64 gn pellets its fine out to 35yrds but 45/50 terrible i know most of that is me but am interested in your power

It would be good to do the Barracuda 8 👍
Yes want to see strip of trigger ive always shyed away from the trigger he sent others away to be fettled
Barracuda Garry would be good.
Hi gary. How come u have go e back to standard internals rather than tony leach 22mm? Which do you prefer? Is there a noticeable difference?
I needed to go back to the set up that I had when I could shoot well. From there we can build back up again.
Please do a video on stripping and polishing the CD trigger.
Hi Gary where did you get that stock from??
Hi, Its from Lukas Parsley in Poland, I'm not sure if he is still maing them.
Please do a trigger tune Gary, thanks
Looking to get my Weihrauch HW110 serviced. Can you recommend anyone please?
I try to shot with pellets barracuda mach of the 0,69 grammi, but is un disaster. Esact heavy of the 0,67 grammi are very perfect and precise pellets. I have Air arms tx200 MK3 full of the 18 joules
SAFTY! Do not forget!!!!
gary i like the green laminate stock on yr tx200. what make is it pls
It's a Tac2 LP, but I'm not sure if you can get them any more.
What are the weights on the end of the barrel for?
Helps reduce muzzle flip
For my TX200HC 22cal. 22j, RWS Superfield 1.03 grams worked best. At 50 meters he knocks down cigarettes.
Also highly amusing to see you forget to unset the safety, which I'm pretty sure happened at least a couple of times at Throckmorton. Quite reassuring to see you, a 'professional' boinger, do it as often as I do. I must stop getting so annoyed with myself when I do the same.
I would like to modify the safety.
I enjoy your videos Gary and I really do learn a lot from you and take your advise. If I were you I would spray off all over yourself being out with them dam mosquitos because I get bit to hell if I don't spray off on myself.
Hi Gary
Trigger strip down please

If you are going to do hft, then the hft500 is perfect. The bull pups are OK, just not suited for hft or ft. Brilliant ratting guns though.
Thanks Gary 👍
11 mins in to the video. Uncertain if it's down to camera position and angle and/or the wonky peg, but it does look to me as though you may be canting the rifle slightly to the right.
Aha. And 15 mins in we touch on the subject
Yep lets see a trigger vid... and tape up your windows.
Come on then Gary what is your 6" aimpiont for that mozy😂😂😂
Paraffin stops Mozzes put it on rag nere you it will stop then biting.
Promo*SM 😂
Your back must ache after spending so much time on your belly.. 🤔
Luckily it's well paded :-)
A very poor demonstration of shooting. If the parallax is set correctly it should not make any difference if your eye is in the middle or not.
As I stated in the video, in HFT, you are not allowed to adjust the parallax.
