Neil Young - Don't Let it Bring You Down reaction | LIVE 1971

Just a stunning display of songwriting and musicianship. Such a clear set of images burn through my head as he delivers the lyrics. However, the "it" in the song's title is what sticks with me. It is a bit of a mystery to grasp, yet it is easy to feel what he means just by listening to the song. That is the talent of a true songwriter. Complemented by some sweet sounding, modally tuned acoustic guitar, and the oh-so trademark high registers of his voice.
