@ The boss would just these 2 guys ("mental resistance") trying to prevent you from changing everything since they recognize you as foreign, but they represent your refusal to change for the better
the world starts in the area shown in The Roads, but then the emotion center has a ton of pastel colors and looks like a building with desks and stuff
