As- salamu Alaykum Brother, I’m a recent revert (about a year and a half) just to provide a lite preface. As a Muslim I’d be telling a lie if I were to say that I didn’t experience remnants of racism and anti blackness within the community of the ummah. I’ve experienced it in a few different ways and it seems like a “blind eye” is turned to it quite often. From the times that I may be walking into another brother (who are often resembles someone of Arabic or East Indian descent) and Salam them, they either just say “Wa alaykum”, Hello or they don’t say anything at all (even thought it says that you’re supposed to respond to the greeting thats equal or greater) to situations where I often see Black people in seemingly “subservient” roles in every day life (ie: being the cook at the restaurant instead of in a leadership position). I’ve had other Muslims look at me weird because I didn’t have typical Islamic - associating clothes on but I still greeting them. It often feels like I have to “Prove my Muslim” or being black isn’t enough to other Muslims and it’s a very conflicting feeling to have. There are even times when I have to even take off my hat just so other Muslims can see my prostration mark….It gets that bad sometimes. I know that there’s supposed to be a difference between “culture” and “religion” but they seem to overlap into a problematic nature that none one seems to attack….or at the very least even address. I appreciate being a Muslim and I’m honored that Allah (SWT) gave me opportunity to be of the ummah (which is the most important thing) but these are things that I can’t ignore as a Black Man
Most Middle East Muslims feel like it’s their religion and we’re copying all of them. That’s why they act like that toward you. Just ignore them and keep it moving..📿📿📿📿
Alhumdulilah for Islam brother. I know it’s a difficult road for many of us on the darker side of the color spectrum. When I was young and took shahada many moons ago. I was given some very good advice. Depend on Allah only and complain to Allah only as it is he who is controlling everything from above the seven heavens …. know that you have every right to be here as muslim and have access every Islamic resource. Whenever those doors close you should feel free to kindly remind them of their Muslim duty and ask how would Allah judge their behavior towards a new Muslim….seek knowledge about Islam and do not depend ever on those who are unfriendly and unwilling to help you….a lot of times people come from Muslim countries are not exposed to new shahadas and giving salaam all day everywhere they go (it’s different for them here) ….also sometimes a person may just have a bad personality towards everyone (including their family and tribesman) it really just be them, not you…..when you have mastered the fundamentals you will understand for sure that if YOU 🫵🏾 are practicing Quran and following the sunnah and excellent character of our beloved messenger (on him be peace and prayer) ….then whatever someone else is going through with their character and religious practice is THEIR problem, not yours…..if someone maintains that 1+1 = 13…..what can you do💁🏾♂️ this religion is clear in that good character is the doorway to a higher spiritual life. Please don’t let negativity distract you from the straight path. After experiencing all of that, I came into the reality of knowing just as there are so many racist Muslims, there are many who would literally give you the shirt of their backs and maybe even their lives. May we all meet in Jennah one day and be free of racism forever Ameen. May Allah make the Quran a light a guide a mercy and a way out from every difficulty and purify our intentions Ameen! 🤲🏾📿…..Sorry for the long message but this always touches a nerve 😂

@@namu8062 we should also compare and contrast this with all the black people in the prophets life. Who was it that told us Musa A/S was black? It was Muhammad. (Where the prophet married the most beautiful woman in Medina to the so called most unattractive and deformed black man? ….people will try and get us to focus on the ant and ignore the elephant. ..A pebble in the sand while ignoring the planets and the cosmos. This religion is not racist. People are racist and that’s their issue, not ours. A Muslim is bigger than any petty personal issue. It’s built on character and the character of Muhammad influenced billions of people in every corner of the earth, every race , geo location and culture from the time he related the message until eternity!! Our beloved messenger loved all of us!
There are people practicing religion but still bad so that in every religious, I married to Jamaican women, and til this day my parents do not accept her and it’s been 5 years and she’s Muslim too, i am Iraqi. So society have different type of people so if racism exist within Muslims, it’s ur duty to stand up to it and let them know their wrong.
I had no idea about raisin head Hadith. I can see where that would be taken out of context. Ultimately almost every civilization practiced slavery in some shape or form. Although the Arab and North Atlantic Slave trade were brutal, Islam forbids their practices. The reality is there will always be less fortunate people in every society. Islam gives them rights and protection. Unlike the Arab and North Atlantic slave trade. Where you treated like sub human. One could even make the argument slavery still exists today. But thats another topic for another day. As an Muslim African this topic shouldn’t make you flinch.
Islamic slavery exists to this day. The most prominent example was recently in Sudan (2005) where the Islamic government installed Sharia Law and enslaved the non-Muslims and later forced them out of the country to form South Sudan. Of course the non-Muslims were mostly black like the Dinka people who are described as the tallest and blackest people on the planet. They were forced to establish South Sudan- the poorest country in Africa. Sudan (ancient Nubia) is rich in gold. essentially the Arab Muslims stole the gold, enslaved the non-Muslims and two Muslims factions are now fighting each other in Sudan over the gold. This topic should make you flinch as Christian abolitionist fought to end slavery centuries ago.
@ I don’t care what Sudan or any Arab country does. The difference between me and you is, I know how to separate the actions of peoples or a state. And what Islam addresses about slavery. Muslims are not perfect, Islam is. Sharia Law gives those in these situations rights and freedoms that no form of previous practiced form slavery gave to enslaved people.
I'm gonna call 🐂💩 and I actually have the Authority to do so. What it is, is that there's ALWAYS been Munafiqeen / Misguided Muslims in his ummah, since before the Prophet even left us! Mind you, I'm the man who recommended him to Ask Allah swt to lessen the amount of required salats!

Muslims can be rascist like anyone but Islam has no rascim for example the phrofet Muhammad pbuh said an Arab is not better than a black m or any man Allah on sees piety fearing god
The Trinity is simply the message of an eternal and uncreated sonship. Salvation and sonship are inseparable concepts according to Christianity, so Christianity would be completely illogical as a belief system if there was no pre-existing eternal Father and Son. If there was no pre-existing sonship of God, then the salvific message of sonship would be simply metaphorical, which would make Christianity a fable instead of a faith. All things were created by the eternal Word of God, the eternal Son, and sonship is only possible from the Father THROUGH the Son, so logically, redemption can also ONLY be available through faith in the eternal Word and Son, Jesus Christ. Christianity does not exist as a consistent theology if there is no eternal Son. Read Proverbs chapter 30 verse 4 to see one of the many places the eternal Son is mentioned in the old testament.
First and foremost, we all must understand that this life is a test, that Allah created for us! Human beings are going to be human beings regardless of being Muslim or not! That’s just the nature of the human being. So putting too much emphasis on things like race and racism, will never do you much good or bring you peace and tranquillity in life! Focusing and obtaining the correct Din will! I see all too often people, especially fellow black Americans getting lost and consumed by race and race issues! It’s not healthy, and will only bring further anger, bitterness and ingratitude which is dangerous for a Muslim because Allah despises the ingrate! You must continue to show gratitude to Allah and understand Allah is testing human beings with trial, tribulation, oppression and persecution as he says in the Quran!

Sheikh how do you explain the Hadith about the prophet Muhammad selling “black” slaves? according to..Sahih Muslim Book 10, Hadith Number 3901
@@namu8062 at the time and even until the 1800s (photographic evidence) they were all the same color, only the genetic differences were noted. In fact, you would be hard pressed to identify the master and the slaves in any photo. You dont even know who is who unless it has been noted in a photo caption.
@@namu8062 we should also compare and contrast this with all the black people in the prophets life. Who was it that told us Musa A/S was black? It was Muhammad. Why did the prophet ask Bilal why his footprints were in the Jennah BEFORE his own? What was the Hadith of julabib? (Where the prophet married the most beautiful woman in Medina to the so called most unattractive and deformed black man? ….people will try and get us to focus on the ant and ignore the elephant. ..A pebble in the sand while ignoring the planets and the cosmos. This religion is not racist. People are racist and that’s their issue, not ours. A Muslim is bigger than any petty personal issue. It’s built on character and the character of Muhammad influenced billions of people in every corner of the earth, every race , geo location and culture from the time he related the message until eternity!! Our beloved messenger loved all of us!
Is it only a problem when they are black? Please take your black american victim mentally elsewhere
The Quran like the Bible failed to forbid owning other humans . Neither can claim to be a source of morals.
That’s oversimplified reasoning
So you're the source of morals ?😂😂
@@rashadabdulrahmaan : The Quran also fails to outlaw child brides.
@@mzansitrash : Neither book lives up to its own morals. However before we go further , Do you recognize that owning human beings is evil?
But yet you are an employee !
Why would he say even if just stop
Look closely, and you will notice
that there are:
Olive-green ,Olive-yellow, Olive-red ,Olive-brown, Olive-blue Olive-purple or bluish-purple!
The Olive 🫒 tree tree 🌳 represents the tree 🌳 of life 🤔
The Olive hue represents the IMAGE of Allah . Olive means Holy , GOD ,
That's my view only a very few people are close to the color black. Like saying blackman and white man is nonsense. Neither they are black or you white.
Muslims can be rascist like anyone but Islam has no rascim for example the phrofet Muhammad pbuh said an Arab is not better than a black m or any man Allah on sees piety fearing god
Brother, there's no such thing as Black or white skin person or people. The holy Qu'ran was referring to the SOULS MEN 🤔
NOT THEIR SKIN COMPLEXION.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Until we can fix here and now I don't argue over the past I think people use Al-Islam to cop out on actively bringing down the racist system here
America is a racist country. What happened to Indians & Mexican. Black Americans 2nd class citizens. from 1700's-till now. The laws of this country hasn't change a bit.
And there!
I think Al-Islam is the means by which we defeat racist or any other type of oppressive system
We are Divine Hu-man Beigs , that was given a WHITE [ PURIFIED] SOUL [ WHITE IS USED AS A METAPHOR FOR PURIFIED] .
OLIVE HUES ISN'T ALWAYS BROWN , THE CHINESE HAS A LIGHTER HUE. KOREANS HAVE A LIGHTER HUE , THE PERUVIANS HAS A LIGHT HUE WHEN COMPARED TO DARK OLIVE COMPLEXION 🫒 NOT ALL MELANATED PEOPLE ARE BROWN. BUT THERE'S ALL ARE OLIVE HUES .
Or wheat.Allah created us in all shades of wheat.
@vanessajoycecollett6607 NOT wheat , it called Olive complexion, everyone doesn't have an Olive-brown complexion.
Again, it is called Olive complexion , there's many shades of Olive Hues
He needs to stop side stepping the problem and address what their going to do about anti-blackness in the Islamic community. He's engaging in extreme rationalizing and justification of this immorral behavior. It's inexcusable. Stop it!!
Well said
Our people were never Christians, nor Muslims. This is what I don't understand either our people were hebrew israelites from israel ancient israel
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is so sad this guy is a joke
Dude bending over backwards to justify racism in the Quran and Hadith but would never give the Bible that respect lol
There is no racism in islam. Racism is cultural.
You focus on and believe in the Bible so adamantly but are on an Islamic page why?? Also if you have such conviction in what you believe, what no one says or does should deter you, focus on what you believe, sir. Your criticism shows a glaring lack of focus on where your convictions should be placed.

Christians believe Noah's Cursed Son was the ancestor of Black people and used that as a green light to enslave them. Which verse of the Quran is used to justify slavery for a specific race.
Show us where at in the Quran and Hadiths where they encourage and promote racism?
This argument Muslim Arabs Essentially abandoned Muhammad's good character and will almost immediately and began conquering enslaving Africans against their will to fight their battles and be concubines for them is weak. Not only would it be insulting to Arabs both leaders and teachers who knew Muhammad's teachings and where willing to die for Islam, it insults our intelligence who can read what's written in Islamic literature. Islam's treatment of Africans isn't contrary to Muhammad's acts and deeds, it has a direct correlation to Muhammad's acts and deeds. He knew how Africans were already being enslaved and treated in Arab society and he not only alloud the continuation of that practice he also participated buy some and selling some himself. Contrast that to christ who not only doesn't continue the practice but affirms their rights in his death on the cross demonstrating he knows even as God almighty what it's like to be whipped and humiliated by those who are supposed to be your brothers. Muslims may fail you, Christians may fail you, Muhammad failed us but Jesus never will. He's a brother not just by lip service but by every stripe across the back on our ancestors.
Ephesians 6:5-9
New International Version
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people
Hmmm. Remaining Enslaved is worshipping God what an evil religion I wonder what Islam says about the virtue of freeing Slaves.
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنْ النَّارِ حَتَّى فَرْجَهُ بِفَرْجِهِ
Whoever frees a Muslim slave, then Allah will free every limb of his body from the Hellfire, even his private parts.

@rashadabdulrahmaan the baqt agreement was an early treaty between the region of nubia and Islamic forces. One of their demands for a truce was the delivery of over 300 slaves every year. You also had the zanj rebellion. Every caliphate including the rashidun had an economy including slaves bought from the continent of Africa.
