Also worth noting this ramp has history of surging at times and sitting boats dry up the ramp, I use this ramp with a 6.5 mtr boat haven't seen it surge and they may have addressed it but local warnings are be aware.
That’s crazy. Let’s hope it’s been considered in the design. However, due to its narrow access I think even boats entering and exiting pose a risk (wake wise)
The entrance constantly silts up. Low tide is a nightmare. The dredge was grounded mid February. You could have walked across and not got your knees wet. Whilst locals are grateful, all the hydrological tests they did prior to construction are a total F@#k up. Everything else is finished now. $70M + and they stuffed the entrance.
Thanks for commenting. It's always awesome to get a greater insight, I know other followers will appreciate the heads up. That's a crazy investment for sub-par infrastructure.
It is. Considering it’s a ramp to open waters, one would assume big boats will be the primary users and they’ll most likely have to take turns passing through.
Excellent information, thank you

Looks like they have made it too narrow .
