Been looking at these. They seem a little under powerd. I had a 1997 Valkyrie that was around 100 hp and 105 ft lbs of torque. Thought this would have similar performance numbers, but it seem slower. Wonder if it was cause the Valkyrie was a 1530 cc flat 6 cyc.
Good point buddy. Of course bigger engine makes some diff. Here however i think its not about underpowered engine or smaller engine. Brp just set them up this way, because of the type of majority of tge owners 😉 f3s is setup slightly different

You can flash other tunes abs perform diagnostics and programs new keys. Very handy item if you own a lot of brp products. I was curious if you did it to yours because your speed stays low for how much power the bike really has.

Yes, new RT are way too much reduced via ECU. The old one was much sharper and we were able to get 200kmh 115mph or so.. def. Its not for drag racing 😆😆😆😆
Yet again the euro models have the torque limiter up to 50mph present...you can see it hold back until it reaches 50 then it goes after that...the USA models are so much faster yet again sigh... You can get a software unlock from power commander V3 tuning box to give you the full acceleration...i know a guy who just did it to his 900cc ryker in UK and its now a beast..does 60mph in under 5 seconds
Nobody will tell you that :( i have asked CanAm in US, i have asked the Slovak BRP to tell me exactly if this is the same model as in US. Nobody wanted to share anything. I know about Ryker now, but i am not super sure about RT as it is much bigger engine 🤔🤔🤔🤔
@@MartinTheVlogger it is the truth I'm afraid.. I know someone with a UK 900cc ryker rallye and he's been working with power commander themselves to design a software update.. They found an algorithm in the programming and he's now managed to unlock the torque limiter as it is in the USA models... He told me the performance is transformed and his exact words are its now a beast and very quick... Sub 5 seconds to 60 where his ryker struggled to do 60 in 8.5 secs before.... You need a power commander 3 to unlock it
@@joeturley1316 I've now derestricted my 900 ryker via the buds 2 diagnostic system so I now get 100% throttle from zero mph...I've now clocked 0 to 60 times via dragger gps timers at 4.5 seconds ....that was with 20 yards of wheelspin...a better rear tyre around 4 seconds is easily achieved....more then a match for any F3S and miles quicker then any RT
Both things can be solved. 1- akrapovic or any other aftermsrket exhaust will do the job. 2- pedalbox or some fine tunning will solve acceleration problem 😉🤘

Power to weight down low for sure, Once you have sufficient momentum weight becomes pretty much a non-factor. a ninja 300 and a CR 250 have about the same power, and down low the CR would beat on it until about 50 miles an hour… The ninja 300 would then smoke the 250 even though it weighs twice as much.
I saw one as it went around my wife and I in my old 94 Accord. Kind of surprised me that it picked up fairly quick and looked quite comfortable.

In Slovakia you need motorcycle license. In most part of Europe, regular car license is enough

Is it slower than the older RTS? I did it once or twice on my 2015 RTS and I was able to get it to 205 MPH in 6th gear.
