I was just looking up reviews for a good entry way into film photography (I'm a Sony shooter lol) and I gotta say, I really like the way your videos are set up. Good job you've got yourself a new subscriber, hopefully you get plenty more !
So, there's actually a third camera made by Reto. They liscence the Kodak brand to produce the Ektar h35. The guts of the UWS being basically the same as the Ektar h35 makes it immediately more dependable and user friendly than anything else on the market. If you're looking into an Ultra-9, M38, or Ilford Sprite II. Save your money, they're all the same little shit box under the shell. Reto has it solved.
I'd buy a 'deluxe' version of this camera, if they ever made one. Reto could definitely bring out a metal body type, with metal cogs (no plastic). I'd pay up to £100 for that. Shame everything is junk plastic these days.
My first roll of film on this camera also had a ton of knuckle photos 😅 Great work!
okay good to know I’m not the only one!! Thanks Nuno :)
It shoots in 5x5 knuckle format
Very cool video as always! I loved the indoor shots the most.

Thanks so much Marco! This could definitely be a solid start. Good luck!
Just bought this camera on whim, glad I came here to avoid all the knuckle photos on my first roll 😅

This camera is in essence fully manual camera.
It's fully manual with no way to change the exposure essentially! Still a fun little camera though for sure.
How I get the film back out the can
Which film roll did you use?
which is much easier to use? the kodak m38/m35 or reto uws? also did u use iso 400 film?
I'm afraid I haven't used the Kodak yet! Looking to pick one up soon though. I did indeed - Kodak Ultramax 400.
Did you use flash for all photos?
there is no flash on the camera! :)
