I love how at 2:03 the gas gauge was just like "oh screw it, I give up!"

That engine might be worth saving for a project, also I had no idea those continentals were FWD.

    • @alb12345672

They only fit FWD trans though.

I think it's worth putting some wheels/tires on it to see what it does. It definitely sounds healthy, nothing wrong with that engine.

Jay Leno Smart.....he now adds comedian to his many talents. Other Leno similarities, a huge car collection, an internet TV show, vast multi manufacturer car knowledge. I wonder if Jay Leno lives in a "double wide" or cuts his own lawn!!! LOL!!! Jay Leno would be a cool guest to the Recycling Center. Do a show on daily beaters we all duct tape and bail wire together for transportation!

realimbored668 that other Ford the Crown Victoria surely didn't! But you are right, must ford's will run, just won't move because the transmission went bad. Lincolns definitely are the best Ford vehicles!

Sounds good, these cars are fun to beat on.. I would only drive my continental hard when on the hwy , not from a stop from first gear to second is where you will kill a transmission on these. My transmission never needed clutches or anything but it did have a shudder so I replaced the torque converter and had a fluid leak and that took out the pump.. But was an easy fix, the valve body has the pump in it..so I just put a used valve body in it and cleaned out all the aluminum bits in the pan new fluid and filter and it was good again. The ride is so smooth, you don't feel the bumps it like riding on a cloud compared to my 03 Cartier Town car.
