WATCH OUT! - SANDBAR

Well it was another eventful day out on Lake Erie. In this video I am down at Long Point.
Launching from Port Dover and riding across Long Point Bay to Long Point Lighthouse and then directly across from there to Nanticoke to see the ships at the refinary and the Steel plant.
On our travels we encounter erosion, bad weather, a close encounter with a sandbar, faulty depth finder and Garmin and even more bad weather.
Check your charts if you are in new water!

I had no idea those vehicles could travel as far as I've seen you do. Where I live they seem to be just used for speeding around near the shore

The speed at which the Great Lakes change condition is amazing. You must be prepared for anything and everything all at once. The reliability of these machines makes for one less major headache.
