The result was ok but still, I think you needed a rough dry prior ro start using the 1.5 attachment you used. It looked liked you struggled to dry and style because you put a lot of work in your hand managing the hair tool. Anyway, thanks to this demo, I will definitely get this barrel. I was hesitant at first because I thought it would be smaller but is a good size, and for curling, it is perfect.
You can absolutely rough dry if that works for you. Just keep in mind, you're drying in what is naturally there. My hair is naturally very straight, so in order to get a soft curl that lasts, I must dry it wrapped around the barrel from wet to dry. ☺
Well it depends on your goal - if you are trying to manipulate the hair, control cowlicks or smooth frizz, you wouldn’t want to rough dry any of that in and then try to smooth it out later because you’d be making your life harder and not getting the best results you could be getting if you had done it from wet. If you are just trying to dry your hair quickly, or if you don’t have too much to work against in the way of frizz or cowlicks then go ahead and rough dry away! I specifically love THIS tool because of the detachable brush head.. it makes rough drying with just the base dryer super easy. Applying a product that protects the hair from heat before you begin your drying is the best way to prevent damage. (Formula 18 SHINE is one of my favs.)
This brush dries the hair and has the ability to curl it at the same time, so instead of two steps (blow drying and then curling with an iron) it is called a one-step styler. You only need this one tool to achieve both styles. Great for traveling!
Yup... that's something I would do. 🤦🏻♀️ lol, sorry about that. I fixed it. Thank you for watching and for your feedback. Truly appreciate you. I'll do better next time 🫶🏽🤗
Bought mine because of you. Ty
I'm excited for you to get it and try it.. let me know what you think!
Great tutorial! Low and slow wins the One Step race.
Thanks Liz! 💕 Low and slow def gives a better end result!
Very pretty! I just bought one on Black Friday but haven’t used it yet

Shouldn't you do a little rough dry first to help with hair damage. The directions on the large hot tools brush advises it.
