honestly if he didnt hack ALGS respawn will just ignore all complains about hacks until he decides to kick respawn/EA in the balls and costing them to lose more money. Forget the legal side of this. MORALLY ea/respawn are way worse than anything he has done. Between these 300+ dollar "events", the crazy amount of gambling mechanics that are going to lead to a lot of people with money problems growing up, them giving us less actual content a year but asking more and more money. Destroyer is not the hero we needed but deff the hero a lot of us wanted. I hope there's someone even worse or better yet somehow legally we fight all these corrupt gaming companies.

I agree that Respawn doesn't deserve praise or loyalty. I'm a Titanfall 2 guy and I will never forget what they did to our community. And I know a LOT of Titanfall old timers that WILL NOT buy anymore games that Respawn makes, even if it's Titanfall 3.
But the issue remains, Respawn doing bad things, immoral things is no justification for immoral acts against their property and for potentially ruining careers.

We need more comment from Respawn if they want more people to come back. The lack of information does not instill confidence, and I can't take the risk.
Bruh ur not going to get hacked destroyer 2009 publicly stated that he was not gonna hack random people, he was just wanted to hack top pros and famous players. He also said he was not going to install malicious things on people computers like viruses, he said he only wanted to play pranks. Also he said in an interview that he was currently unable to hack anyone else for the time being

Why would you think others wouldn’t learn from him what the hack was (say, he was bragging about how he hacked to feel good about himself and others took that information) and use it for their own purposes? They could then deploy it at-scale very easily. These are common scenarios.

@@janitorizamped 1/14 is very close to the chance of you getting a legendary from A SINGLE apex pack (7.4%). I didn't even get an epic, let alone a legendary, from 9 packs. The chance of getting an epic from a singular pack is 24.8%, how is that not unlucky?

I had 4 packs and got 8 from the compensation. Got 3 legendaries and the pack on my next level I got another legendary lol

I think one big thing people overlook is what this kind of hack means. This guy has done this for "shits n giggles" but imagine what someone who wants money or computers for botnets, every apex player is at risk. So yeah find this dude but I think EA really ought to look at the bigger issue here.
This hack could have been significantly worse.. thankfully even tho it seemed scary it didn’t go very much further.
How he managed to implement cheats onto someone else’s machine and fire loot boxes to people is an extreme issue which EA didn’t address publicly and I’m sure there will be another exploit soon.

Regardless, He should be banned from apex but nothing more than that. Cheating is bad, but it should not be illeagal to cheat in a video game. A case could be made for getting other people banned and ruining their career.

I thought about buying the 20 apex packs but then respawn showed how temporary our possesions in the game is. Seeing how my badges get removed, how my skins get removed, no way I pay a single cent into this. If I play enough, I buy the battle pass with my remaining credits and build up the credits that way.
4:16 it’s actually quite easy if you have access to the server. All you have to do is edit some tags in a person’s account and change their pack “balance” to whatever number you want. It’s a lot more complicated for multiplayer games, but for games like Risk of Rain 2, there’s a specific line of code that if you edit it you can have all the achievements (including the ones that steam tracks) and unlimited lunar coins.
Getting into the server is the hardest part lmao. I don't even understand the point of this comment, you probably used cheat engine to change a value one time.

This is the aftermath of carelessness Titanfall experienced - the only reason apex isn’t hacked into oblivion is cause of how popular it is. I truly believe(blissful ignorance) that the hackers could shut the game down if they wanted to risk their freedom. Maybe then we’d see some actual effort in removing cheaters and blocking hacks
Respawn should offer him a job on the tech side of Apex, he’s proven he has the skill. That way they are able to resolve the problem, figure out how he was able to exploit code, and avoid any negative backlash from trying to go after this kid through the Russian/Belarusian court system. Would reflect well on the company, and would reach a beneficial solution for all parties, including the players

What is crazy? I recognize that rampart banner and remember fighting this same hacker for about a week. Was around season 14. There is so much to this. But maybe something will be done about hackers in Apex now? Idk.

i have not played the game since.
I haven't been able to play for weeks now. When I get into a game, the audio leaves and eventually my game freezes. The few times this didn't happen I was booted into the main menu after a kill.
So when is it safe to play apex again?

@anonapache I don't play with it on anyway even on consol it messes my aim up after playing pc and learning recoil patterns cuz it doesn't allow me to move right it's like it locks in like aim bot and messes everything up causes a slight lag in your movement that gets you killed

@anonapache so aim assist slows your aim when within hitbox range so people with lower sensitivity will have a harder time turning from one enemy to the next compared to someone with no aim assist, with no aim assist I can do a 180 to fight who is behind me without that split second hold that aim assist does when stuck on a hitbox

Nah bro Destroyer is doing God's work. Him hacking into people's accounts just shows how poor Apex is at handling hackers and has been an ongoing issue very since the game came out. Not only that but they really deserve it, I remember when Apex was a fun game but hackers ruin it and their collection event that they release within one week of each other is starting to get out of hand and be really annoying when they keep labeling it as content

In relation, roblox false terminated me, I started coding cheats for roblox on afterwards, the mindset is, "If I already lost everything, there's nothing else to lose."

destroyer just brings justice for lazy ass EA that prefer collection events to actually fixing their game, like sound is broken science launch and servers are straight up garbage
at least one of the player got hacked, because of the wrong configuration of his router. He install Malewarebyte for antivirus scan and the it show up a incoming connection, they normale would blocked by the router.
Instead of only forward the ports needed from the game, he forwarded all traffic to his pc.
Thats allow everybody to connect to the services the computer offer, for example network shares.
I have to wonder if destroyer got into mandes PC while he was interviewing him. Thats how he got into the AGLS.

Funny how people will still say that you can't hack on console. I come up on MW1-3 and Black Ops 1-2 and Ghosts on PS3. There were mod menus with every kind of cheat you could imagine in those games all the way back then. But every time I would mention it about Apex in a comment section in one of these videos from well known creators I would get dog piled with everyone saying you can't hack on console. I never understood where they got that idea from because I have been seeing it since back then. Now you have proven it with this video. I hope people will realize that it doesn't matter what platform you are on you will always have cheaters.
That's back then, with ps4/Xbox one and newer consoles its way harder to do so because you either do it but can't use online servers or you can but get banned almost instantly (I think hardware banned)

It blows my mind people aren't more up in arms on this. One major thing not mentioned in this video is after Respawn's statement they replayed the ALGS regional finals in secret. So even after whatever patches they deployed they still were not confident enough to even let the public know when the competition was happening, much less stream it live. If the individual streamers' machines were compromised outside of Apex, I think we'd know that by now to ease peoples' concerns. That's not something that would affect stock prices or anything. So I think the logical conclusion is that there was/is some exploit that allowed this person to install cheats on these peoples' machines through Apex. And if that's true, other people could do far worse with such a vulnerability. And that's why I'd be hesitant to load this game. Not that I'd be worried this guy would target me or anything. Just that you'd end up in a random game with one of these other people who just wants to grab random people's credit card information or whatever.
The kid who hacked qnd leaked rockstar and put out the gta 6s trailer a day early got LIFE in prison. Hes still in jail.. this hacker is playing with fire. If these big corpos want to shut him bad enough. They will.
