    I own a power probe, and I own an ect short finder also from power probe. I bought one of these today from my snap on dealer because a kid I work with was having a hard time with some wiring; this tool in 30 minutes revolutionized how I now do wiring, and the kid I work with ordered one immediately lol. This tool is amazing! Well worth the $436 I paid for it.

    i love my power probe but this thing is a great tool for me, the AC functions work great for diagnosing the pwm motors in the newer trucks, and it has so many different tools combined in one device. i think i'm gonna buy one after watching this

    Could you make a video with using the tool on a vehicle?

    • @nutz4gunz457
      @nutz4gunz457 7 років тому +6

      That would require him to actually be able to diagnose a problem. This guy can barely change a light bulb.

    Looking between this and the PP IV. But If Sturgill has one I want one!! Question. Years later has it come in handy big time? What has it been a life saver for? Do you still use it, or prefer the power probe?

    Even though this video leaves a lot to be desired,the tool itself is awesome. Blows the original power probes away easily.

      I don't know if he's serious or if this channel is supposed to be funny. From what I've seen this guy couldn't diagnose a blown fuse. I wonder where he got the money for all the shit he has.

    Junky idk i think I'd stay with my power probe because they don't offer and additional cable other than a replacement for the tool at this point. Sometimes I need 30ft of cable to test the lift gates and that's not an option yet.

    • @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING
      @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING  8 років тому

      Ash Aphter yeah that's what sucks is they don't offer an extra cable for that thing yet but I'm sure that they will in a matter of time but but the thing is pretty sweet I like it just by testing it a little bit I like it better than a power probe I think it's a little more easier to understand what's going on as you can see it on that screen

    • @Outcaste153
      @Outcaste153 8 років тому

      I am betting that that thing is nice display look ez to read on my screen so I'm betting that it real nice i person. I do have one question the probe end can you put the test lead for ur multimeter in and does it work like that. I know the power probe works with the leads and it makes it ezr to test in tight spots. I'm not sure everyone knows that tick or not.

    • @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING
      @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING  8 років тому

      Ash Aphter yes I would say that you would be able to the the front hook is very very similar to the power of one see you can probably put one of their skinny ones in the front and as far as the screen goes is really nice are you can see everything really clearly in the colors look really good and it's hard to get it to make out in video because if I zoom in so far then you can't see the whole thing of what I'm working on cell but I'm just let you know it's pretty nice

    Is this more like a Power Probe 4 or Power Probe Hook?
    Does do what a Load Pro can do too?
    After all it is made specifically for Snap-On by Power probe.

  • @deenicee32
    @deenicee32 7 років тому +1

    hi is the probe tip removable so i can add my own test lead like my power probe to get in tight spaces ?

    • @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING
      @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING  7 років тому +1

      MSIMAX OVERCLOCKER yes it is it is built by power probe so that will adapt over

  • @MarkFox
    @MarkFox 8 років тому

    I would keep the Fluke and give the SnapOn back, it's way to large to fit in where I would need to place it. I can see it being useful for large trucks though.

    • @ColeTanner88
      @ColeTanner88 6 років тому +1

      Mark Fox take the tip out and insert multimeter lead, you dont have to try and stuff the tool into tight spots

    • @chrismargarum6863
      @chrismargarum6863 5 років тому +1

      It's not a tool, it's a circute board for testing, gives you problems so you can show the tool off, to promote a tool, like what he is doing for the probe

  • @del9936

    Great , what’s all this stuff it does and all this stuff it shows as you keep saying it does all sorts of stuff , if I was going to buy one of these I would want to know what all this stuff is? And this tool in the wrong hands will stuff any ecu maybe that’s what the stuff it does , sorry it’s not for me I don’t need it I know ohms law and can diagnose circuit faults without this .

      The Snap-On Tool Review sorry about that two of these videos sometimes I mess up my words but yeah do this thing is a pretty badass like it does a lot of different stuff I hope that it showed it in the video but the screen is really nice

    • @TheSnapOnToolReview
      @TheSnapOnToolReview 8 років тому

      Yeah that screen is awesome and it makes the power probe look like shit.....even though its made by power probe. Haha

    • @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING
      @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING  8 років тому

      The Snap-On Tool Review yes he does I make the power probe look like ancient technology and the only thing that I don't really like about it I should've put in the video is is that the right now you can only get a 23 foot cord for they don't have any extenders and I thought maybe an old power probe one I would fit but the connectors are completely different

    • @TheSnapOnToolReview
      @TheSnapOnToolReview 8 років тому

      The Snap-On Junkie!!! Oh really? I guess that would suck for the vehicles you're working on. It wouldn't be too much of an issue for me.

    • @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING
      @JUSTINSTURGILLTRUCKING  8 років тому

      The Snap-On Tool Review yeah it would be a little fucked up for me but I'm gonna make a little battery thing for it but it makes it real portable but I'm sure that they'll make an extension real soon
