The first verse hit me like a ton of bricks literally. My Dad passed away on Christmas Day 2021the worst day of my life! I had to find the nearest exit because the grief was so overwhelming and it doesn't get any easier to this day. Now whenever I hear this song on the radio I turn it up and let my voice sing loud and proud to my best friend my Dad. I know that he is up there watching over me. Be safe on the road this week (truck drivers, both of us)... 2 days later my uncle called with the news of his passing. That was the last conversation we had and neither of us knew it at the time. I'd give everything for a do over. Yall reading, take nothing for granted. Cuz one day, ya can't anymore. Couldn't even make the funeral bc i was out on the road and too far away....😢 RIP grandpa. See you again on the other side. Hope youre well and found grandma and you 2 are happily planting a spectacular garden again. Can't wait to see it.

He and his 5 year old step son Kyson would belt out Dear Rodeo together and is one of his favorite songs. We played Til You Can't at his funeral and that has became a song that we can feel his presence through.
