Will be included in my next order for sure. The Evo ergo is very nice but it’s not super easy to tie the bands on, especially if they need to be replaced when you’re out shooting.

The Evo is hands down my faviroute design! I own a stainless original evo and recently purchased the EVO 85 which I absolutely love. I don’t even touch my other catapults now as they are no match for the evos. Highly recommended!

Very new to catapulting and this is my first one. Really weird because it looks so angular but fits into my hand perfectly. It’s a real pleasure to use and my daily practice is now the highlight of my day. Nicely weighted which helps immensely with aiming. Couldn’t have picked a better one if I tried.

I got the original Evo Pro and it's a really nice catty. Only issue for me was the weight of it, so I drilled it out with a pair of different diameter drill bits and reduced a lot of weight that way. It suits me a lot better with the lighter weight and I'm very happy with it. The new catty you're showing with improved clip bolts is a good thing. Not that I lost any of the bolts, but with the first model you've got to be careful when changing out bands.

Love mine, just got to the part in the video where you said ‘Yan your looking for a reason to buy one’ realise it’s probably a different Yan but freaked me out nonetheless. But your right! I have OCD to so now you’ve pointed out the difference I won’t be able to unsee it 🤣 have lost a spring in mine so that 4mm opening is a big improvement.

Stupid question:
when shooting the slingshot, should the "EVO" engraving be visible to me or should it be target side?
Brand new to slingshotting and pretty sure ive attached the bands backwards and been firing back to front all week.
Seems to have been working fine for me though so far.

Just about to order one of these, well amazing! I was using a random cheap catty and i found that when a band is pinched and chewed by the frame grabbing it.. two small leather strips 2cm X 2cm folded over the bands end and tightened, avoids the band being snipped directly due to the grips edges.. maybe include two small bits of leather to ur kit for this.. give it a try.. the catty basically grips the folded leather pieces hard via each grip and the band is safe inside the folded pouch it away from the frame compressing it directly and nipping it... ur catty may not need this at all, but i found the leather protectors good in my kit!

I have ordered one of these, looking forward to shooting with it. I think the changes look great and make good sense. The springs on the bolts is a great idea, will make it easier to get bands in, wish more cattys had that feature.

Evening! Had my v2 turn up a few days ago and absolutely loving it. After buying a black widdow to get back into it last month and realising my memories of it were a little rose tinted I invested in one of these bad boys, the difference is unbelievable. Trying to set my bands up somewhat effectively. What stretch ratio is best for the premade ttf hunting series 25/20 bands? Draw length of about 86cm to the centre of the ball

This is a great catapult that is extremely easy to put bands on, perfect for everyone, beginners, professionals, preppers, gamekeepers, hobbyists and hunters.
Only got the EVO® Field Pro V2 today, felt it in my hand for a minute and already looking to get the EVO® without screws and the pocket EVO®85.

So I ordered Monday and received on Wednesday which I was not expecting at all, well chuffed.
One thing i disagree with you is the leather Catty Shack pouch you said that It would feel a little stiff but honestly if feels nice and very easy to put the EVO inside.
Wayne there is only one thing I can find wrong with the EVO® Field Pro V2 with Leather Case, and that is the Torx key end is very sharp so when you put it in it’s cool little pocket it “could” cut into a band I’d your catapults forks are facing up, I used the circular sand paper to take the sharpness off.

Very new to catapults and this is my first one, kinda feel like i jumped into this to quickly, probably should've went with a starter catapult. 110% appreciate the quality of it but im defo going to get one of the erlier models to lear the trade first. I would recommend this grip from the Evo v2 to the Evo 85, it is smaller, compact and aesthetically pleasing, and I think it would be more successful than the v2, which is a bit too big

How far back does the Evo slingshot name go . Ive had a ott black metal evo slingshot frame with red or orange evo branding on the forks centre & from memory ive had it some time.

The original Goblet is around 5.5 years old, then I modified that to the Goblet Evolution ‘EVO’ around 4 - 4.5 years ago. If you have a metal EVO in this style, it’s either an illegal copy, or somebody has painted it.

Yes, they’ve always been 25mm approximately, but these will be even closer. They were made 26mm before polishing.

Love your videos. But surely the polished, shiny metal is bad for hunting? We tiptoe around in camouflage, sometimes with face veils on. Guns have blued barrels to stop them being shiny. Surely if the sun catches the catapult it will shine and flash and be a beacon to the target species. It may sound like a small thing, but we all know how wary some species are.

Yes, but no. Barrels are blued to help prevent corrosion, and because they are being moved and swung around at flying birds, observing from a high vantage point, are much more likely to be seen, shine, and reflect, this is obviously a good feature to have. Catapult hunting is very different to the dynamic movements of a shotgun. When you’re shooting a catapult, or any kind of stalking, your movement, noise, face / hands and smell and much more likely to give you away than what you’re holding (within reason). A few square inches of brushed finish silver is not a concern. Even some deer stalking rifles have silver metal barrels.

I can understand that. It takes a few seconds, and it’s just to be safe. They aren’t really dirty, but I am a perfectionist and like to explain every tiny detail. It’s the same as a new shotgun, or rifle, when you first get it you take it apart and clean it.

Do these catapults generate more power than an air rifle and can you kill cleanly on lung/heart shots? I don't like head shots as if you hit the jaw of an animal it would be in absolute agony and slow very cruel death. If you a bit off with heart shot you still hitting in vital organs and could get away but die fairly quickly.
